and those epsodes i consider to be the best part of the series. (next to the epic ending, that is)

(click to show/hide)I liked the unique way of exposition through an in-story gameshow. add the hilarious and awkward premise of said show.

the second one, which i assume is McDonald's "happy land" or watchamacallit. is also a nice deconstruction of the so called "utopia".
really want to see more of it (deconstruction of utopia) myself.

No accounting for some people.  :P

As for the 'Epic' ending, yes, the end was pretty epic.

Did you also notice that (click to show/hide)when 'white Lil' (Monad Proxy re-born) flew into the sunlight, she seemed to dissolve and also the 'bad' Ergo Proxy that was sitting in the seat dying and the sunlight hit him, he started to 'smoke'?
I kinda think that Proxies might be related to vampires in some and are thus 'sunlight intolerant'.  ;D
I wonder what they would do if they decided to do a second season?

^ Lol, vampires aren't the only creatures that have to be affected by sunlight ;D
Second season wouldn't be a good idea imo, it would turn into a random shounen fight series.

Heh true that.

Oddly, I used to work with a guy who has a condition where he needs to get out in the sun on a regular basis, or that is what he told me at any rate.

I'll have to see what Goooooogle throws up, if it gives me anything on it at all that is.

I reckon they could do a second series working on the 'old human race' (the ones that went to space) vs 'new human race' (the ones that were 'born' in the Domes) or possibly 'old human race' vs 'new human/proxy hybrid'.

Of course, the new human/proxy hybrid would have to have found some way to be able to have children again.

Also being a new human/proxy hybrid means they would be faster/stronger than the old humans, but there would be technology involved in some way as well, although probably NOT Mecha based.

(click to show/hide)I believe it has something to do with the sunrise symbolizing "a new beginning". relevant link.on vampires burning, it's purification, i guess.
