Star Wars : Republic Commando (older game)

yes Republic Commando was such a gem. Star Wars games lately tend to focuss on Jedi but I can still remember back in the dark forces and x wing vs tie fighter days when the games focused more on the republic soldiers and space battles. This was a game that I didn't expect much out of but ended up really enjoying it alot... too bad it was so short

It felt like a mediocre Star Wars themed mod of Halo, not even good enough to finish.

Commando was a good game, suprised me also. I am sure the new MMO that Bioware is making will be great, possibly the best SW game yet..but we will see. I have just about all the SW games that LucasARts made and many of the older ones like X Wing and TIE have been upgraded and updated for modern systems by massive community efforts..just as KoTOR I and II have been now also.

yeah I am looking forward to the new SW MMO but I am worried about the monthly cost for it considering how huge this game is going to be.
upgraded versions of x wing and tie fighter are great but I would really like to see someone renew the franchise and give us some new SW space sims, I think with today's graphics they could make for some great games

Either those or another pod racer game. I love the pod racer game.
