You may want to see a doctor about that. You might have a sleeping disorder. Did you try a sleep aid before?

I've been eating sleeping pills twice in my life :P
Well, and one reason I can't sleep so well is the body temperature, for me, ourhouse is way too warm, but it is perfect temperature for my lil'bro and mom.... So, I sleep window open... and the temperature outside may fall on nights over -10°C....

You should see a doctor then. Maybe sleeping pills are doing the opposite because you are becoming immune to it.

are you depress? That makes sense then because depression can cause everything you are feeling right now. Lack of sleep, energy, etc

I hate to sound like late night tv... but it might be your mattress or your pillow.

This used to happen to me, then my dad purchased an "orthopedic" mattress for me which actually felt like a wooden board with padding. (it wasn't but it was god damn firm). It took a week or two to get used to, but my sleep got better. Now that my parents "upgraded" me to some fluffy mattress, I'm getting some shitty sleep.

I kid you not, try sleeping on the floor with light padding or so to try it out. It's that type of weirdly uncomfortable yet restful sleep. My current mattress has some sort of curvature to it that really screws up my lower back. Not to mention I have to sleep diagonally since I'm somewhat as long if not longer than the mattress itself.
This is your home now. So take advantage of everything here, except me.

I can't sleep on hard surfaces... I just can't sleep... though, for some reason, I sleep extremely well on sofas...

Well, from what I understand that 1000mAh usually sleep very little and drinks inappropriate drinks at inappropriate times.

Fix it and you'll be well.

I think you should just eat. Once/day is too little. (Small snacks along the day helps!) :D
But everyone is unique. ^^
Thanks Enzie!

So totally an attention whore thread. mAh, go take your pills now. Your mom says they're good for you. She's a nurse, she should know. Now bea  good boy and do as your mom says.

Because we can!

I have low body temperature too, almost always under 36 degrees. Makes it hard since most people won't believe that to me 37 degrees IS fever, not just mild temperature (including most doctors, who imho should know better.) It got a bit higher when I gained weight but not much. And I went from severely underweight to a slightly overweight, so it was a significant increase too.

I also have trouble sleeping and often feel totally lethargic so sounds a bit same that your problems :D Part of it I can attribute to bad lifestyle but I'm also naturally a bit insomniac, I've had trouble sleeping since I was a child. For example I woke up 3am last night and the night before that I couldn't get sleep at all. It just seems to be something that doctors aren't willing to look in to. Maybe I ought to complain more. I've been eating the sleeping pills that they always prescribe for when I absolutely need to shut my eyes for 6-8 hours, but it's not real sleep. You wake up tired and your mouth tastes like a garbage dump ._. But eyes are rested. That's... almost positive. I've also tried melatonin but it really only helps to keep up an already achieved sleep cycle for a few weeks longer.

But one thing I found that once I do fall asleep helps me to stay asleep is earplugs. Damnit, I didn't know sleep until I started to use them. It seems that among other things I'm extremy sensitive to noise and it isn't something I had realized before.

But yeah, no help on the temperature side :D

Well I've had sleeping troubles as long as I can remember :P
I didn't need naps when I was 1 years old, and that is also the time when I started to sleep only 10-9h/day :P and about weight, I'm almost underweight, :P If I would lose 2kg I would be underweighted :P

And for me, I also get good sleep if I go to sleep when I'm Drunk or I've smoked weed during the day.

Haa, me too and that's weird since it should be the other way around. Alcohol at least shoul decrease melatonin production. But hey, what ever works :D I'll raise my glass to that.
