Snow, do you like it?

the coldest was ~-28C and the deepest ~60cm in Espoo. The highest piles were up to 3m.

HAHAH! I suffered even more cold.
Had a battle camp in Jämsä, Halli (army stuff). 5 days long.. coldest what we/I heard was about -35C in daylight and near -39C at night.. snow didnt had much but fuck I hated that coldness.. expecially at night when I had to guard the area I was guarding...

anyway.. after the army I realized how I much I can hate snow..
-clothes gets all wet
-its fucking cold
-your foot gets cold if you stand too long in snow
-its smelthing takes forever

only one plus snow gets is that its soft.. and you can make snowballs..

Army wise snow is awesome. You can ski to places, you can dig into it to stay warm, nothing worse than having -40 and no snow.
Then again, you have to take special care to not be spotted because of the tracks. It's a bitch. especially if you happen to be recon like I do. In the summer you mostly have to take care of some dogs and perhaps a person or two who can track(lol at modern kids skills in moving in the woods, I was even able to track my teammates who were trying to be discreet). In the winter anyone becomes a tracker, it's quite annoying.

Anyway. I love snow when it is not on the roads and when it only lasts a few months.
Its nice to have a snowy winter. Lots of things to do that you can't do in the summer/places that dont get snow.

I hate snow with a passion. It just snowed by me not too long ago. It's APRIL! Damn.
We had some bad snow storms/ blizzards this last winter. So I dislike it even more now
then I did last year. Haha.

Plus, if you gotta drive somewhere here, forget about it.

never said it was bad xD It was actualy really enjoyable, I didn't even use winter jackets during the winter it was perfect temperature.
I wished there would have been even more snow but well, if here on Espoo would be 2 meters of snow, think how much there is on the lapland xD

How old have we become to say that snow is not a good thing! Most Finnish people love to go riding the Sled, making snowmen/snowcastles and to swim in a "Avanto" (Hole in ice) Those who don't want to admit it, fine. Continue your boring lives.

Snow is innocent in all of this. Most people associate snow with cold. So they hate it. It's unfair.

It would be like associating smart people with Steven Hawking and believing that all smart people have disabilities.

I love snow and winter.  It's my favourite season.  I love big jumpers and being wrapped in blankets.  I love coats, scarves and gloves.  I love hot chocolate.

I love everything about it except for one thing.  THE PEOPLE.

The people ruin winter for me especially snow.  All they day is whine about it and then you get the idiots who stand and throw snowballs at random passerbys and sometimes but stones in them.

But apart from them winter is my favourite season.

Indeed, I love snow and frozen lakes, I just don't like the cold... but you cant really have one without the other. Though, I prefer the cold to extreme heat.
I guess I dont like winter roads either when the plows are slacking, but the rest of winter is just fine with me.

Snow ^__^ I cannot imagine new year and Xmas without snow.. it's boring. (( unfortunately in my country it doesn't snow every year.. (( but this year with have snow and it's really cute )) Love it, though i don't like when my hands and feet freeze:)))
