Was just smoking my pipe in the comfort of home and watching the weather and scenery outside -  snow looks kind of nice and it does make world brighter and look cleaner (fresh snow), but I do still hate snow :D

^ would be just fine without deleting stuff. Snow means -wet feet, cold weather, cold wet salty dirty snowish sludge on the streets that ruins not only dry feet's but also boots, slippery streets with a possibility to fall down and hit something really hard (my knee was hurt like that again), a possibility that something heavy and icy/snowy will fall on ones head while walking, passing by transpiration most likely will gush you in that snowish wet dirty salty sludge I already mentioned, there will be more traffic jams
and so on and so on and so on....
how in the world someone could love snow..... it does look nice when its all new and fresh, but that does not stay that way for to long. Really fast it fast becomes dirty and filled with sand and salt and with yellow urine stains..... oh and after the snow melts there is unimaginable quantity of dog shit everywhere. I really hate snow, really do.

I really love snow, especially when it's really cold an you got that nice cold dry air. So full of oxygen... mmmmmh...
I also like driving in the snow.

As for the sludge, yes I hate it, but that doesn't count as snow for me anymore. It's just the bad aftertaste of it.

don't talk about problems we get after 1 month!!
No wet feets, no cold wet salty dirty snowish sludge on the streets, no passing by transpiration most likely will gush you in that snowish wet dirty salty sludge I already mentioned, but trains thorw awfully lot of snow into air when they pass stations. Well, only about 33% of that you said is true, here is possibility of snow falling onto your head, the traffic jams are also true = use the public transportation, and of course here is a possibility of falling = I use boots made for slipery weather.
Well, we can do nothing about the urine :P Thats why here are places where you aren't allowed to take your dog. and about dog shit, I can't see it, because in Finland you've to collect it and put it into thrash can almost every where.

we already have the problems here >_>
and we do have that stuff on the streets as our darn government are idiots and just do not give enough money to clean roads. And the public transportation also gets into traffic jams here as that is also not properly regulated. AQnd my feets gets cold even in summer, winter do not help the matter, and I know of no boots that do not slip on snowish sludge covered ice...
Well people here collect the dog shit only in summer, they think that in winter nobody will see it anyhow..beside I live in part of the city that have more then usual amount of Russian teens, that for some reason do not understand that keeping place where one lives in order is normal, they (not all of them of couse, but most of them) just ruins and breaks and shits on everything

So my statement still stands - I hate snow how ever cute it looks.

It was an amazing place.  A little run down due to the economic issues, but still very nice.

I like snow, playing in it is great, I also like anything that lets me move mostly frictionlessly (snowboarding, skiing, sliding around on patches of ice) I don't get cold easily which makes it better, snow feels particularly nice right after its fallen.
However, my only means of transportation is my motorcycle, and when it snows it becomes a huge hassle to get it out of the driveway (hafta shovel down to the dirt) and I cant drive it if the roads are overly icy of >1 foot of snow, ntm where I live very few people know how to drive in the snow, so they become extremely hazardous.

Yes, I've only seen artificial snow, once in my life though.
No real snow, no snow falling from the sky... Australia =/

Quite liked this winter. Had above freezing like 1-2 times since middle of November here, lucky I live in the southern parts of the country. Since it doesn't go above 0 it doesn't get horrible, hardly any ice. They have also moved the snow away decently, so cars make the road almost as good as during summer time after a couple hours of traffic from the last snowfall. Or on the less travelled roads the snow gets packed down hard and thus works decently.

Then today it went above freezing and it was the worst day this winter from my point of view. All the snow that used to be hardish and work well to walk on suddenly turned soft and thus you walk in foot prints making the surface extremely uneven. :/ There is also brown snow now, hasn't been that much before that. Basically snow is fine if it doesn't hover around freezing, then it sucks, hard.

I personally wait all year for even a light cover of snow, but where I live we usually only get about 30cm of snow for a week once a year, and it only sticks around because it is cold, which I might add, turns it in to ice.
So yeah I love snow, the crunching under my feet and the failing attempts at building something, and even throwing snowballs at an erratic snow eating dog which I call my pet.
When it turns to ice is when I get annoyed, slipping and then doing a little dance to regain balance is not how I want my first impression to be with strangers walking easily past me as if the ice beneath their feet instantly froze. F**kers.
