Snow, do you like it?

I like snow, playing in it is great, I also like anything that lets me move mostly frictionlessly (snowboarding, skiing, sliding around on patches of ice) I don't get cold easily which makes it better, snow feels particularly nice right after its fallen.
However, my only means of transportation is my motorcycle, and when it snows it becomes a huge hassle to get it out of the driveway (hafta shovel down to the dirt) and I cant drive it if the roads are overly icy of >1 foot of snow, ntm where I live very few people know how to drive in the snow, so they become extremely hazardous.

HSSDamian:
Yes, I've only seen artificial snow, once in my life though.
No real snow, no snow falling from the sky... Australia =/

Quite liked this winter. Had above freezing like 1-2 times since middle of November here, lucky I live in the southern parts of the country. Since it doesn't go above 0 it doesn't get horrible, hardly any ice. They have also moved the snow away decently, so cars make the road almost as good as during summer time after a couple hours of traffic from the last snowfall. Or on the less travelled roads the snow gets packed down hard and thus works decently.

Then today it went above freezing and it was the worst day this winter from my point of view. All the snow that used to be hardish and work well to walk on suddenly turned soft and thus you walk in foot prints making the surface extremely uneven. :/ There is also brown snow now, hasn't been that much before that. Basically snow is fine if it doesn't hover around freezing, then it sucks, hard.

It is hard to believe that it was +2C 2 daysago, it was yesterday -17C and today -16C...
So, yeah... everyplace is ice and the snowmans the kids made are completly frozen, they are as hard as rock...

Manjus:
I personally wait all year for even a light cover of snow, but where I live we usually only get about 30cm of snow for a week once a year, and it only sticks around because it is cold, which I might add, turns it in to ice.
So yeah I love snow, the crunching under my feet and the failing attempts at building something, and even throwing snowballs at an erratic snow eating dog which I call my pet.
When it turns to ice is when I get annoyed, slipping and then doing a little dance to regain balance is not how I want my first impression to be with strangers walking easily past me as if the ice beneath their feet instantly froze. F**kers.
