Ah broad games.. I now know why the house breaks out in a war when its over.

Played monopoly once, was accused of cheating with the dice ::), other games left me glaring at the GM for not getting his act together.

Chess is pretty entertaining too...

Saboteur is an interesting one indeed. It's sort of like the verbal mafia game, but with a more defined goal. My friend commented he hated playing cards before me. "I keep regretting my moves when you end up being a saboteur". TBH I've only played this one on a single occasion.

I own power grid, but I've never played it. No one to play with and learn with me.

I also own weinhandler and bohnanza but I have no idea how to play them.

Bang! I hear is entertaining.

Meomix, consider purchasing the game "Family Business". It's a game of arbitrarily killing each other. The cards have stated rules, but how you use the cards is purely arbitrary. You can do team work and whatnot if you want, or be lone wolf. You can't technically "cheat" either unless you try to use a card you're not allowed to.

x5ga:
Saboteur is the perfect game for trolls xD

Power grid is awesome, but the few first games until you memorize the rules are difficult and long :D But it's worth it.

Teaparty:
Requires too much brain. I don't have enough of it.

Scudworth:
my family are trivial pursuit fans.
We tried risk but after too many dumb luck rolls things got out of hand. There's only so much arguing that can be done if someone is winning because of their own knowledge.
