--- Quote from: modification of southrop ---For this bitchin tournament, we have some fucking awesomeness rules that we're adding to the table aside from the basic stupid mahjong rules.
1. We use mo'fuckin Tenhou for our shiznit matches. There will be no change to this bishes. AKA: It's all about MY rulesness
2. If a player noob disconnects from the epic match, he/she can still reconnect and continue playing but he's henceforth known as a quitter noob. What happens during the time the player is disconnected (noob net users) is still part of the official match. We can't offer any compensation for noob players who have disconnected due to shitty intarwebs during their match.
3. If players are unable to organize a time for the match to be played, bitches shouldn't be playing in the first place, and. the Organizers (Southrop, Mirgond and Arveene Gods of Mahjong) hold the right to set a reasonable time for all players which means you better drag your ass over and play. If anyone doesn't show up, they can be disqualified should fuck off.
4. In case of any stoopid argument, the Organizers (Southrop, Mirgond and Arveene Masters of the universe of Mahjong) hold all right to settle it and smite the noobs, including the disqualification of players via banhammerâ„¢.
5. After a match which better be of epic fun, your results must be submitted to the Organizers (Southrop, Mirgond and Arveene the ultimate winnerers of the game of Mahjong) through a screenshot pix plox posted in the thread that will be created for your match(es). (Example For the ones who are too dumb to understand). Your result submission must also be accompanied by a link to the replay (Cake makes for good om nom). You can find details on obtaining the replay link in the Tenhou Usage Guide which is obviously for noobs only.
6. These rules may be changed or added to at any time by the Gods of Mahjong, the S.A.M. 3. Make sure you keep an eye on this thread! 'cuz ya'll are noobs in comparison to us and needs to learn shit or be schooled
PS: The S.A.M. 3 are super sexy

How does Monopoly mesh with communism?

Isn't communism a state run monopoly? ;p

Sure, but you don't start off the game with one player owning everything, and nobody being allowed to buy any of it. ;)

If people spoke like that all the time, shit would be SOOOO Cash...
toaow:
I love board/card games, even more than I love anime/manga.
Favorites would be:
Power Grid - tense and fun (if a bit math-y), with many expansions for that "similar but different" feeling.
Through the Ages - like Sid Meier's Civilization, except without a map and can be finished in 2-3 hours.
Princes of Florence - Play rival Princes in Renaissance Florence. But instead of competing for money or might, players compete to gain the most Prestige, mainly by sponsoring artists and craftsmen to create great works.
StealthWar42:
Definitely love them; in fact, not having other people to play board games with has been one of the biggest growing pains... asides from not having an anime club too.
Anybody here like co-op games? There's this game called "Space Alert!" where you're part of a spaceship crew that has to face monsters/challenges together. It's played literally to a CD, and as the track progresses, randomly-drawn cards can come up and you have to work together as a team to try and address the situation. It lasts only 5-10 minutes too so it's pretty fast-paced and high-stress. Very fun co-op game.
