Well, you have the quick menu for favourite items (Q button), but it is still not instant like hotkeys.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Umm, i hate to break it to you but YOU CAN BIND 1-9 TO QUICK SLOTS

If you want to hotkey a spell/item/equipment, first favorite it, then press q to bring up the favorites list. Highlight the item in that list and press the number key you want to bind it to. The number will appear next to the name.

10-15 hours a day of gameplay since release. Few hours of sleep and doing other daily things.

Yea ... this game is so fucking addicting. I haven't played a game that is so ... awesome!

(a quest character I have to follow has got stuck, so I can't finish the quest).

Download BSA unpacker from nexus, then unpack "Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa" and extract all content into Data folder (all content in that .bsa file is literally nothing but Estban's dialogs). Now the game will work as intended and you will not be stuck on that quest.

I think you're thinking of a different quest to me.

(click to show/hide)

Also, I am getting increasingly annoyed with the interface. Even Oblivion's was better than this one (though Morrowind's remains the best by far).

I got the exact same bug :(
I even tried killing him, but he's a quest-essential npc so he won't die.

I said "yay" for a while, then now I'm saying "nay" ... Barely any information on where to find Daedra Heart in your link. I've already done the searching and went to Alchemy and Ingredients. No information on it.

Link from Wikia.

Now I'm decked in full Dragon-Scale Armory, I'm gonna get me that two-handed Ebony sword. I need Daedra Heart first.

There is a console command for killing NPCs, which I think works on essential characters, and another one to resurrect them again. I haven't tried it yet though, since I imagine it's more likely to break it completely than fix things. Once the construction set is out it'll be possible to find the IDs of the various quest stages, and hopefully reset it all, so I'm just waiting for that.

I am quite sure that there'll be a patch fixing that (the distraction thing not ending) soon enough.

Try it out if you want. I'm going to wait for a patch. The command's in the Notes section below. I think you'll need to use stage 12 or maybe 20.

I'm actually at the beginning of the next quest, where I have to follow him to the leader of the thieve's guild. Since he won't move, I can't get any further. So I probably need to set TG02 to 0, or maybe TG01 to 200. But, it says you can't go back quest stages (ie. uncomplete bits of a quest), which is different to Oblivion, so it probably isn't possible :(

Looks like I'll have to wait for a patch or mod as well then, I suppose.

movetoqt xxx - Teleports you to the quest marker, replace xxx with quest ID (for example: taking a Thieves Guild burglary side quest you input "movetoqt tgrbe").

showquesttargets - Shows all current quest IDs, note: Having more than four quest or more may have some quest IDs will be cut off when displayed in console.

Try this.

Trouble is, I'm worried that there's probably some secret entrance whatshisface needs to open to make it possible to get to the leader normally, or something like that, so if I warp there and start the next quest, he'll never open it.

In my experiences with Oblivion, I found that meddling with quest stages, IDs, and stuff, usually just made things worse. I have plenty of other quests to keep me occupied for now, so I'm happy to wait for a patch, at least until I run out of other stuff to do :)

There's still invisibility, which is 9000000000x better.

Yes there is, which means once you cast a spell or attack everyone sees you and even if you cast it again they still see you perfectly well. there is also no way to enchant stuff with Invisibility because you have to learn the effect first, and there is not a single item that uses it :P
