Havoc10K:
Enchanting in TES meant putting nearly any spell on any wearable item, true there are many ways to enchant weapons and armor and trinkets but hunting for the items you still don't know is kind silly, and some items can't be disenchanted at all, also, there is difference between for instance having boots that let you boost your 2-hand skill, but you can't place the same enchant on armor, because it's feet-enchant, and not armor-type enchant. I think this was a little miscalculation on Bethesda part, since I understand sneaking being a typical feet-type enchant and not armor-type enchant, but why is magic resistance on boots also a feet-type enchant as well ?
Gloves enchants are also miscalculated in most cases, I found restoration gloves but also cant use that enchant on armor, while having ANOTHER restoration enchant for armor that can be placed on all pieces of armor... sense anyone ?
I'm pretty sure the patch should have solved this problem, question is, will Bethesda admit a mistake and fix it, or not.
I liked Spell making designed in Oblivion, and if it had the same rules as in Morrowind (you couldn't just enchant anything you wanted onto a piece of equipment in Morrowind, there were limitations, but you could enchant every spell you knew onto gear in Oblivion as long as you knew the school high enough) as well as making new spells was limited in Morrowind as well as in Oblivion to level of school you have.
I agree that the Chameleon spell enchant could be very abused, I would definitely abuse it, but it could be limited to trinkets only with max 25%, since we can have only one ring and a necklace, why only one ring though ? should be 2 at least, they are so small O_O
The limitations Bethesda placed in this game are silly, at the very least you finally have Bows that you enchant are working with the arrows, instead of just having a fancy bow and needing enchanted arrows to do magic effect on enemies, although allowing to enchant arrows would simply solve the problem.
How ?
Spell to make currently equipped arrows element type enchanted, or any other stuff, oh well.
Lets wait and see what modders will bring us.

Custom spell system was prone to exploits, disintegrate armour on self so you train destruction and train your armourer skill at the same time, or custom drain 100 health over 1 second which was very cheap and very powerful insta kill spell at earlier levels.
My biggest problem are seriously unbalanced bosses. And I am talking about the kind of balancing like Deus Ex 3 where a boss was either impossible or so easy, it's not even funny. For example I am a mage through and through. Killing dragons is the easiest task for me, I am a bit more sceptical about melee only builds, since some dragons just keep circling you forever. Another good example is Morokei, which is a bloody pain to kill with any method except for melee bashing, since he stops using spells all together when you are at point blank range. Orchendor is another fucker who is immune to spells and is much harder to kill as a mage, than other classes.

Thing is you dont have to powerlevel it, dont really need smithing to finish the game (maybe on highest difficulty), I only leveled it with stuff I find and around lvl 75-80 and my char is like 33.

Ask innkeepers for rumors and they will tell you about a kid that wants to summon them, go talk to him to start it

Yea it kills the game when something is so easy to level up. I'd rather have something like WoW that forces you to go out and get the materials. I still don't fucking understand why they allow the shop keepers to have some of the rare materials. Did they not think at all that it would kill the enjoyment in this game?
And the Perk system is broken, too. I wonder who they hired to do all of these things ...
I'm playing it now for the storyline. I like the stories just about everything.

my logic denies access...

Just to nitpick here, Froody did say that they CAN be resurrected, not that they WILL BE.
Random opinion: Leveling up too easy / gear being too easy to obtain just sucks imo.

...is this a bad game? Do you all hate it?
For me this is my second favorite game of the year after Dark Souls, I fucking love it and have been playing it A LOT. It fixes nearly every major problem I had with Oblivion.
Yet every single time I visit this thread there are 2-3 more complaints about the game...
