Patience, the maid outfits will come in time, just as happened in Oblivion.

I hope the construction set gets released soon..
in the meantime:

I'm not a racist, to me Elves are just humans with pointy ears, orcs are humans elves with ... retard DNA ... and Khajit are every anime fan surprise. They just lack more human look and maid outfits ...

Fun fact: in Morrowind Khajiit and Argonians couldn't use any footwear, not even armour and it made them more beast like. I didn't like the development of them becoming more human in the later games.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Fun Fact: Some purists tend to adjust their playstyle to fit their roleplay.. ie: not wearing armor if it doesn't suit them or if it conflicts with their roleplay. The cool thing about sandbox-type games is the freedom of style that can only be hindered by personal creativity.

Your point is? Roleplay means that you are playing a specific role following the rule of a setting. The setting can be very restrictive (D&D) or very lax (TES). I have met a lot of purists like the ones you mention and almost all of them have respect for the lore and setting limitations. I am sure they are not the people that would complain about not style being limited by things like races and classes. The ones that would complain about it are those type of players that care little about style, lore and setting, instead only caring about things like power builds.

Don't you think it's quite silly for there to be some strange universal force not allowing them to wear footwear? Why shouldn't they be able to if they wish? It's not like their feet are tentacles or something.

Hence: If you're that type of purist, then just don't wear boots/armor/helmet If you're argonian/khajit.
If you want to preserve the lore of the game world or whatever = problem solved.

But that doesn't mean you have to force those same strict limitations on others.

ie: What if I want to create an argonian dragonslayer who wears the scale and bones of his victims for his armor.
Why would the game prevent me from doing that just to please some purist?

Because their legs in Morrowind looked like this, so it's obvious that it wouldn't fit the the human footwear. I remember seeing NPCs using some kind of wrapping on the lower part of the leg, but never seen armored footwear back in that game.

You really think it's a strict limitation? Oh boy, try the infamous AD&D.

That is a weird one, because I am pretty sure that my Oblivion character didn't look like that when I became Sheogorath and a ruler over Shivering Isles. I wonder if daedric princes turned Jyggalag into Sheogorath again.

The construction set hasnt been release yet, so there arent any significant mods out yet.  But once they are you can pretty much expect anything and everything.

My good sir. My point was Sheogorath + AD&D = Madness.
But yea.. whatever floats your boat.  :D
