That is a weird one, because I am pretty sure that my Oblivion character didn't look like that when I became Sheogorath and a ruler over Shivering Isles. I wonder if daedric princes turned Jyggalag into Sheogorath again.
I suppose we can assume this is the one that came after the hero from Oblivion died of old age.

The old champion of Cyrodill or whatever became Sheogorath. It says that somewhere or other... it's in the lore.

Your character didn't die. They became a Daedric Prince.  :P

I know. But from what I remember, you didn't become immortal.

You're a god damn Daedric Prince. You don't think you're immortal?!

...'sides... mine was a vampire too anyways.

Though... to take on the mantle of Sheogorath, you kinda become batshit crazy. You are the Daedric personification of madness after all...

Sheogorath is the embodiment of lulz. There is just no point in arguing about it. Arguing with madness is pointless.
The internetz is the realm of lulz and madness. We are madmen. Or maybe not.

Cheese for everyone!  :D

Hmm... you think you actually became a daedric prince instead of just some guy with authority and power of a daedric prince while only within Shivering Isles?

Hell, we can only speculate, didn't find any official canon source about that event.

In dialogue, Sheogorath mentions that he was present for the entirety of the Oblivion Crisis, and makes reference to Martin, stating that he is possibly the "best" of the Septims. He follows this by rattling off a list of seemingly unrelated objects: butterflies, a Fox, a severed head, and cheese. These likely reference the beginning of Shivering Isles, the Gray Fox of the Cyrodiil Thieves Guild and the severed head of Mathieu Bellamont's mother. The cheese may be in reference to a line in Shivering Isles ("This Calls for a celebration! Cheese for everyone!") or it could be in reference to his shrine quest involving placing cheese to attract rats.

These statements, coupled with his claim that Sheogorath is a title "passed down from me to me", all suggest he is the Champion of Cyrodiil.

Very good point there. Now that I think about it, the real Sheogorath had those daedric eyes in oblivion, but this one seemed to be blind. Remember all those times Sheogorath threatened to take your eyes and tongue and all that shit? Maybe he did in the end.

Still doesn't explain the Scottish accent unless that is the language of madness.

But in Skyrim when you meet Sheogorath in the Pelagius Wing, he also said that he was just out on "vacation".
Besides, my character in Oblivion was female.. So this just doesn't make sense. (which is strangely reassuring)

You should remember that in most games, male protagonist is the default one.

Yeah well you didn't have a save game import like Dragon Age was amazing for having. So it just assumes it was male.

Nah, that doesn't mean anything. He looked completely different in Morrowind too.

It is the first Sheogorath without a cane however.

Achievement Unlocked : I broketed it !

Successfully achieved truce, and then instantly, all NPCs vanish in thin air.
Visiting their strongholds yields no response from the ghastly situation.
Lets face it, I broke the game. Quick save+Quick load doesn't help :(

Did you try disabling your mods from the launcher?
