I'm not racist either. In fact, I'm a "sandnigger" myself. Over-analyzing a joke leads to not finding it funny.

On topic: Today I realized that I haven't done any quests related to the Forsworn, and have no entries for related quests either. Are there any quests directly involving them? How and where do I start them?

Go to Markarth, someone will immediately try to kill a woman. You can either kill him before he can do it, or you can let him. Doesn't really matter. The girl is a visiting noble and will give you some jewelry if you save her though. Then some guy gives you a note, that you... ahem... "dropped"... yadda yadda.. you do your thing, ask too many questions, and ta-da! Forsworn quest is born. Enjoy.

Tried to not have too many spoilers in there for ya.
Oh I remember that event happening, I think I just didn't read the note. Thanks.

I finally managed to change the combat style of my companion (pic related)..  ;D

(click to show/hide)

Turns out, all I needed was to set skyrim.esm as master for my esp so I can easily check out the necessary form IDs I needed..
I also made a bat file to add all the necessary perks/spells/skills to her spell book so she can be a competent combat mage ('coz she uses default attacks if she doesn't have the necessary spells).. It's just too bad that she can't seem to learn the shouts I included in the bat file.. (I'll re-check it later) >_>

Also, there seems to be some class and combat styles that doesn't seem to work.. like spellswords (especially when you have a primary weapon equipped), dual-wielding combat styles, druagr/ulfric shout combat styles, and trainer classes.

Meanwhile, hunting bow still miraculously gets equipped instead of a bow with better stats in current inventory even though I cleaned out her CNTO inventory, though this might actually be affected by class or combat style.. hmm...

Don't just assume that you are right. Verify with the best tools available and if you are wrong, change your mind and you will become right.

could you spoiler your bat ?
I made a starter bat that adds shitloads of stuff and made Lydia a fucking spellcasting savant :)
there are things you have to do and enchants on armor, then you can make your companion a real bitch (assuming you prefer females).

2 days ago I finally was able to max out enchanted gear to make incredible enchanting improving potions (93%) I don't think you can get any higher than that. Gonna try though.

Made Steel Plate Armor that lowers destro spells cost considerably and regen magicka quite well.
I also noticed while upgrading Steel Plate armor and Daedric armor, that those two sets are the best heavy armors, aside Ebony, but it looks gay :P except chest piece. I guess it was meant to be an elegant armor, but then I would have to use the White/Silver Ebony mod to make it look appealing.

Before I return to experiment with alchemy I have to gather at least 100 ingredients, my rule, either have a lot or don't do anything :)

And lol'd burk, only you could find that :D

bats are just console commands saved in txt form so you can use it in an easy to use combo, but here ya go.
(the teachwords at the bottom of the list doesn't seem to work though)
(click to show/hide)

I called it skooma. so just type bat skooma in your console..

Also, I keep custom enchanted-gears and equip gears into separate bats for whatever style I want my follower to be. (mage, thief, warrior) I'm planning on making my own custom radiant quest eventually about a group of perpetually lost adventurers who calls themselves "the circle of confused nomads".. (backstory is that they throw a hammer called "Dolendrum"  into the air and travel towards whatever direction it lands, similar to what the lost dwemer clan "Rourken" did with Volendrung and you can join them in clearing out dungeons) I'll probably tweak their builds later on to keep things balanced..

edit: If you're looking for where I changed the class and combat style, it's in my custom esp file. You can build one your own using FOMM and tweaking CNAM and ZNAM attributes.. (I'm still testing out what spells each class prioritize or whatever..)

edit2: drats.. I changed her class to missile type and she's still nuking spells like crazy instead of using her bow.  >_<
this is getting annoying. I managed to switch her from ranged to melee (finally overriding her original miner class which uses mostly ranged combat with a hunting bow despite having an OP blades sword in her inventory), until she never used her bow when I switched her to a spellsword or a witchblade. But now, all she does is spam spells.. ugh. I'm starting to doubt if editing class and combat style attributes really work..

Fun video about Skyrim.

For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Lololol
Following the template from the books, there ought to be at least 2 more lines in there. Maybe about fishing something out of his pants? XD

I think I know why your companions can't use shouts.

Just adding a shout doesn't mean it's available for use. They need to be unlocked with dragon souls, even if you add dragon souls to you companions they can't use those souls to actually activate the shouts.

I see. Any idea on how to do that? I managed to force Sylgja to use a bound sword after I gave her a bound sword spell, removing her other spells and main weapon, the CNAM of combat spellsword and ZNAM of spellsword. Although it seems that I also need to tailor her available spells since adding common spells like flames and bolt spells which is a favorite between multiple classes, becomes their first priorities, and I still can't mod her to dual-wield her blades sword along with a bound sword despite testing combinations between different thief classes and spellsword combat styles.

I also wanted to see my other followers to have their own distinctive fighting styles which reflects their classes. So it would be nice if some of them could use the shouts that are appropriate for them, if for example I gave them combat styles similar to Draugr Overlords or Greybeards.

To have them use shouts you need to find the codes for active shouts.
Unfortunately, I don't think the command console will work on that, best bet would be giving companions the Dreugh Shouts as they are likely enabled by default, but their power is actually not that good.
I'll see what I can dig out from codes, but I think activating the shouts will likely be possible via mod when the kit comes out, or when someone will write a companion save editor.

I'll dig a bit, but I don't think this will work as we would like to.

For anyone interested, there are dialogue replacement files to Japanese on Demonoid. Just backup those files in your install dir and copy over.

They're pretty good I think, though some words are left untranslated like "Dragonborn" and "butter" (a guard conversation), which I thought was a little weird.

All guards in Skyrim were adventurers until they all got shot in the knee.

Butter in a conversation tells you it's weird ?

No it's the fact that they say "butter" in English while the rest of the phrase is in Japanese. I mean, Dragonborn I can understand, being that it's a title of sorts, but butter? I don't suppose there's no word in Japanese for butter is there?

In the same way as a lot of Japanese use ミルク (miruku) for milk instead of 牛乳 (gyuunyuu), I think it's not all that uncommon to use バター (bataa) instead of 牛酪 (gyuuraku) for butter - which is just the Japanese pronunciation of the English word, so it's not all that weird to use it. It is something that children tend to do more than adults though.

I can see the reasoning behind leaving "Dragonborn" untranslated too. Makes it sound more exotic and exciting.

Ok, my next character is going to be either Khajit or Argonian, females.
With the improved female mod, Argonian females actually LOOK like females o_O
What's best with that mod is that even if you install it in nude mode, you will still not see anything on Argonian females, unlike in some other Oblivion/Morrowind mods, and that is how it actually should be.
