Most likely yes, so it's not an issue. However a finishing move where my fist repeatedly meets the face of it's victim just made the game so much more fun.

Indeed, I didn't know I can smash the head of the enemies into the ground. Too bad deathblows don't trigger as often.

Playing a pure mage is WAY better with the magic balance mod. All it does is make each rank of destruction novice/adept ect increase damage AND mana cost for all destro spells. Playing a 2h warrior vs mage was silly, at level 8 the 2h is doing more damage than a firebolt at lvl25. It also adds optional armor penalty so if you want to do bigger dmg you need to be totally squishy.

Lastly there is another optional part which slightly increases damage of a 2h cast destro spell (from 2.2x dmg, 2.8x mana cost, 33% combat regen is standard, I use 2.6x dmg, 2.4x cost, 48% combat regen).

These simple changes make a mage much more playable without feeling OP at all compared to other classes Im playing (assassin & 2h warrior). You still die in 1-3 hits from most anything :)

Found a mod that adds 1 point unarmed damage with every level. Currently lvl 7 Khajiit and I do 42 unarmed damage with every hit with steel gauntlets and not yet enchanted the unarmed fortification.

I kill people with 2 punches at most, it feels so OP at the moment. Even without that mod, I was doing tons of damage at low levels.

I guess it will balance itself out at higher levels, however with so few skills that I level actively (Heavy armour, Smithing, Enchantment) and some skills that increase passively (restoration, speech, lock-picking), I don't think I will ever get over level 35.

Lol, I found myself wearing heavy armor with magicka regen everywhere where applicable
using flames all the time at lvl 46 without noticing the mana drain at all, and enemies simply fry if I can say so myself.

If you haven't noticed, out of all shouts when facing multiple enemies, for mage, best is frost breath, and Sparks without dual cast, feel like the Emperor Palpatine yet ? no ? then wear greybeards clothes, now you should be fucking emperor !
Even at lvl 80 destro, sparks just kill anything quite fast, dual casting in destro is unnecessary if you are only using the basic spells like flames, sparks or that chilly spell (forgot it's name cuz I almost never use it)

Kit should be out around 15th Feb or something like that.

Elaborate on the enchanting thingies.

What, you mean like when  you get stuck looking at the enchanting table after closing it and lasts for a bit? I just repeatedly spam tab to get that away >.<

Are you deaf as well as blind, woman? I'm not a carpet to walk over and I
distinctly heard myself speak. If I pinch your bottom, you can slap my face, but until I do, I expect a civil word for a civil word!

Yes, this. I've been using tcl to get out, then saved, exited, and reloaded. The first time I just used tcl and the result was that I was walking around "invisibly", dragging my body around maybe 10 feet behind me, I noticed it after entering a shop and seeing myself stuck through the door and twitching.

I think it's a problem with the mousewheel giving input to both the 3rd person view and to the menu at the same time, so you end up "ahead" of the 1st person view while enchanting, which puts you inside the table once you exit the menu.

Personally I encountered this only once, browsed the google about this and found a solution, don't remember what it was, and not happening ever again. I think there was the bugfix for it on skyrimnexus as well.

I've had it about 10 times but I haven't come across it since the previous patch. I've still got the habit of hitting f5 before any type of crafting.

I played this game like crazy when I first got it, but it got a little boring after I got my smithing and enchanting to 100 and made it so destruction magic doesn't cost any mana. Now I just shoot fireballs and never use any mana, and the fireballs also cause stagger so enemies never get close to you. I'm playing on Master, running through dungeons and finishing them in like 5 minutes, lol. I may just start a new game.

Some more about the magic balance mod, god I was so sick of needing 2000 casts to kill something.

Buffs:
Each destruction <rank> perk increases damage and magicka cost of destruction spells.
Each alteration <rank> perk increases the duration of alteration spells. Very nice not to have to recast so often.
Magicka regenerates slightly faster in combat.
Dual casting destruction spells have increased damage, old modifier was 2.2x, new is 2.6x with cost increases to 2.4x. So there is a definite efficiency gain from dual casting, to make up for nerfing the OP dual cast stun perk.

Nerfs:
Wearing any armor in a slot increases magicka cost of destruction spells, and decreases the effectiveness of alteration spells.
Destruction dual casting perk stun reduced from 100% to 50% chance.

So to be really effective as a pure mage you cannot wear any armor, which on master or expert means 1-2 hit death from most stronger meele. Id say the playthrough was only slightly easier than without the mod, but much more dangerous as you dont want to wear armor in any slot and hurt your spell costs.

Here's my assassin char wearing elven curiass (use hide helm mod) and shrouded boots/gloves, I use a bunch of mods. Sorry for shitty shadows, I have them turned down to med otherwise the fps drops heavily with fov set to 80+ (65 default is shit for a widescreen)

I just wish it didn't hurt the fps so much increasing it, but it puts a lot more polys on the screen. I usually like 90 degree fov but it gets too curvy at the edges above 80 imo. Doesn't help that I have a video card that was 99 new (ati hd4770). The rest of my box is decent (phenom2 955be, 8gb ddr2-1066) but the vid card is old for this game. Already had to run at 1680x1050 with no AA, now I have to do it with med shadows. But everything else is maxed and the fps is good at these settings so Im really not missing much, perfect shadowing, while nice, is not crucial to gameplay at all.

I saw a badass screenshot of a huge fov on triplehead 1920x1200 screens, freaking crazy. If I find the link ill share, its on skyrimnexus somewhere.

Here's a screenie of lisanna (the assassin) looking hawt slaying a dragon with dual katana's (from weapons of the third era mod, and the shrouded armor comes from killerkeo's cbbe armors) :)

Personally I don't really like those needlessly revealing armor mods.

Its not really about being revealing, just armor that fits the CBBE bodies. I figure if Im going to look at my char for a hundred + hours she may as well look good.

I also don't use any mods that make the game easier (the magic mod has drawbacks too, in the end you do the same damage per mana as vanilla you just dont need to cast as many spells to kill stuff, and its much more dangerous as you lose 100% stunlock), nor do I perk up enchanting as it makes the game too easy. And I play on expert (master is just too much).

Im thinking of adding Wars of Skyrim III for lots of difficult mob encounters while traveling, cities getting attacked more frequently, ect. And I try to avoid fast travel, yes I know I was a huge morrowind fan, still my fav rpg of all time :)
