Death Note 720p (Dual Audio)

For some reason this is rather hard to find, and I looked on Baka hoping it would be here, but no luck.

Does anybody know if a 720p rip of the Death Note series even exists?

No. The series never aired in any HD resolution as of yet.

It hasn't had any Blu-Ray releases either, afaik. And for once I'm not even seeing any placebo-quality 720p DVD upscales out there.

And thank you both for you answer. I find it so odd that it hasn't aired at all in HD, or hasn't been sold in HD/BR either. Oh well :/ Guess I'll just have to make due with the Arigatou release.

maybe they are following some ominous undisclosed keikaku by not releasing it in HD...  :o

I am surprised myself. I would have thought with all those fans ringing in my ears about how awesome it was I would have thought someone would have upscaled some DVD and claimed it HD already whether it be fans or creators.

I just discovered something funny in the death note series, i was watching it through again.  Yes it is English dub.  Please cry in a forum related to the hatred of English dubs.

It is to do with This Video
