All MMO suck at launch?

Why is there a slim hope that this will not suck? Because Games Workshop is keeping developers on a tight leash and developers are also tabletop fans. So at least it will be authentic and true.

Oh, but there will be eldar, we have already seen an eldar ranger in the trailer.

The big question is: Who can we play as and who will be NPC only?

My bet is that we can play as any of the numerous organisations in the Imperium, while Orks, Chaos and Eldar will be NPC only. After all Imperium offers a wide selection of characters:

Adeptus Astartes (some chapters have flaws and strengths too)
Adeptus Sororitas
Adeptus Mechanicus (which may include the Collegia Titanica. We have seen titans in action in the trailer)
Adeptus Arbites

Inquisition which would include the following:
Ordo Malleus (which will include the Grey Knights)
Ordo Hereticus (which may include Deathwatch)
Ordo Xenos

Officio Assassinorum (including 6 specialized temples)
Imperial Guard

Of course unfourtunatly it would make sense that at the release we can only play as Adeptus Astartes and maybe also Grey Knights. From a buisness point of view it makes sense that they would give us more classes with expansion packs however.

Also, Eldar? They suck in tabletop and in dawn of war....

Might be interesting.

I doubt I will get it at release though, perhaps if the reviews and opinions are very good I'll get it after the first month is over.
