He probably figures that it's too much of a bother (if not impossible) to get them to stop it and he knows he'll recover from his injuries soon enough anyway. Not that he likes it, but he has other things to worry about than his female roommates beating the crap out of him.

I wasn't talking about the physical abuse. I was talking about their constant bitching and verbal abuse

Well the physical abuse really doesn't matter because, as mentioned already, he's a zombie.
Verbal abuse is a whole different arena.
