Lol, that went by me. I didn't know Uematsu-san had left Enix. As you said, makes sense since the soundtracks aren't particular interesting for the newer games.

Sosseres:
Aren't they making a ffxiii tactics as well?

Havoc10K:
dunno about that, I still need a PS3 first to get amused, as far as visuals go FFXIII is great so no complaints there, story seems to be there too, the only problem Enix has recently with their games is the gameplay battle systems that are way off the place they should be in RPGs of FF titles and such, good old commands are always best, makes me want to play Grandia 3 again.

ffxiii had such a sucky control system in combat that auto combat was often better, even if it did sub par choices, simply because it was faster than going through all those menus while sitting at max action points...

Khundes:
I felt my stomach do something wonky when I heard about this. If X-2 is any indicator of anything, this is going to fail hardcore.

Plus right now SE is scrabbling for money again because XIII wasn't the big hit SE wanted it to be, and XIV was a complete and absolute flop. Along the way I expect FF's 1-6 to be re-released somehow somewhere, again.
