Legend of Legendary heroes

I did not see a topic for this yet, someone here recently suggested it to me. And I found it to be one of the very few really good Action/Adventure shows.

The first 4 or 5 episodes are pretty weak, which is why I believe it got some mediocre reviews. But it gets really good.
The world is very dark, and both the heroes and villains are very human, With both good and bad in them. This makes for some very interesting characters.

Through out the entire show, you struggle to label anyone as a good guy or a bad guy. Which I think really adds to the story.

Its a shame that it doesn't look like there will be a S2 though :(
there was a ton of promise for one.

Yeah, too bad it looks like no season 2.  The show was pretty slow and middling in the beginning.  The first episodes were confusing because there was no pre-story.  I hated the last episode.  The last episode was the embodiment of rushed.  I did like the Alpha Stigmata story.  I was thinking that the Alpha Stigmata would turn out to be a hero artifact, but then the show ends so that never gets fleshed out.  Claugh was my favorite character.  Actually I'm struggling to say anything about this series because nothing ever really got in depth.  There wasn't enough episodes to really get a feel for characters.  No time for nothing.

They really needed at least 3 seasons to do everything properly.  The writing kind of stunk too.  Actually maybe it's good there will be no season 2.

A second season is needed to patch those holes up. It is indeed a good show but 26 episodes were just too few.

I was certain a thread was here, strange.

How come you guys are so convinced there won't be a second season? Is there news somewhere that I missed?

it was planned for 26episodes, but they ran out of money and cut it to 24.

Thats why the ending feels so rushed. Or atleast thats what ive heard through the rumor mill. Thats also why the odds of a second season is very slim.

Hopefully they do pick this up for a second season because you can just tell that the story is only just beginning to ramp up to the epic parts.

I don't necessarily agree that the first episodes were weak, I found them very entertaining. Overall this series held a number of surprises as well as a blend of humor verses violence.

I too would've loved to see much more of the show.

That's what you heard? :D I heard that it was simply not popular enough to warrant a second season. Long live rumors...

I liked it, was one of the better magic action animes i've seen for a while, but unfortunately i get the feeling it's going to get the Chrome Shelled Regios treatment...needs a season2 bad but will it ever get one? Damn Zexcs!

Just wrapped up this anime.  This was freaking awesome!  Probably had the most fun watching this than I have had in quite some time.  Art was excellent, storyline was not too bad, and the character interaction was just stellar.

It is very clear that there was a budget cut there toward the last 4 episodes.  I actually had to re-watch scenes a couple of times to try to grok everything that was going on.  Despite this, it was still pretty sweet.  Ryner & Ferris had me laughing in every episode. :)

Hope there' s a season 2!

yup i have to say, one of the better anime ive seen, and its been quite a long time since i watched an anime i liked this much. but i have to say their planning seemed awful , at the beginning the story was quite simple, straight, but then at the middle it started getting broader and broader becoming quite obvious that one season would definatley not be enough to wrap it up. but any ways, i really like these type of animes with a hint to ruling and corruption etc, it had that similar to that anime with they guy with the leapords head, forgot its name.plus so many guys i just hated sooo dam much that kept making me think "kill that guy already" seemed to have survived. i hate it when i dont get a proper ending, specially one that is as this one, but still the story was pretty nice.. the characters were good, the blood was good, the action was good, every thing was pretty good..it just sucks that its over..now i gotta find another anime to watch :(

I'd say a remake starting from episode 16 or so is needed after the mess they did in the last episodes, which were awful.

I only see Horrible Subs completing this and only up to volume 6 were released in BDs by Zero Raws. This is sad to see an anime not being complete.

There is a complete batch by Derp subs on Nyaa. You can also wait for Taka if you want, since they haven't actually dropped it and even posted on their forums that they're still working on it  ;D  Derp subs is also going to be releasing BDs and ANE plans to as well but there isn't much progress on the ANE side.

An interesting anime. The story is thrilling. Even sometimes it made me cry. xDDD it sort of reminds me Claymore. But i really liked it.:)
