Today I read it's going to be distributed by Steam, and only by Steam.
That fucking sucks.
I'd been planning to buy it, but now... idk. Games distributed by Steam have an unfortunate tendency to being badly translated and being censored down to PG-13 levels here. Also incompatible with international versions. That kind of destroys the entire point of the game.

looks like ill never play this game fuck that rubbish software known as steam, i dont care if pc game devs around the world love it. Its a bag of shit burden and ruins everything.

Steam is a burden? Clearly I live in a different world than you guys... I love Steam and never really had a problem with it at all. If the servers are down (which they rarely are), then go outside, enjoy the world a bit until they are back online. I like the whole idea of having a digital copy and never losing it to wear and tear. If you really have a problem with ordering it online, buy the hard copy... but I can't really help you since you'll still need to use Steam to play it... sooooo... sucks to be you? :P

The problem is not with steam having any problems, it sometimes gives shit results, the amount of problems some users have with it is incredible, sometimes even having an original game in steam doesn't mean you can play it :P

...how could you even believe that? that's like saying that mass effect 3 will be only distributed on steam, nothin against steam myself, but duke nukem forever is a MAJOR title, you'll be able to get it anywhere

oh look, after 5 seconds of searching I found a hard copy you could find, and it's probably gonna be translated into every major language (or has been already) if you're foreign and thats what you're meaning
