make-up or not?
« on: January 24, 2011, 09:20:04 PM »
Well, I started wondering this. Well you know, 12-28 years old women ruining their skin with too much make-up :P (have I heard correctly if I say there is make-up that doesn't damage your skin?)

Well, I do know that here is people who like make-up, etc.

Well, I don't relly like girls who use make-up. I like girls with no make-up better :P
Well, I have nothing against make-up if it isn't over done.

But every person makes their own choise :P isn't that righ?

(and I'm speaking about people just because I know men who use make-up...)

but the point is, do you like watching a face that has make-up or would you rather watch a face with no make-up or a face that has only a small amount of make-up?

Everyone likes a good makeup, it's just that we don't want to realise it's a makeup.

Because we can!

I like eye makeup, I tend to find that with my bright hair my face gets washed out without anything. I only wear it when I can be bothered though.

I don't wear any powder or blusher or the like though. I'm so freckly that there'd be no point, and my skins fine anyway. *Shrug*

I guess it depends on the person. However, some people should not be allowed to touch a make up case.
I dont really know anyone who would dislike a well done make up job, in order to wear makeup you dont need to paint your face.

If not overdone, then I think it can look quite nice. It's entirely up to the person to use it or not.

Instead of using make-up to make your skin look good, you should probably spend the money on getting great skin care products that make your skin look that good... then no need for makeup!

Y'know that wouldn't really work for stuff like eyelashes and lips right?

True... but as long as lips are juicy (as is.. really soft and squishy)... I don't care if there is any lipstick. Eyelashes and eyeliner can be junked for all I care... just makes women look like hookers.

I'm guessing most of you have seen paparazzi photos when sparkling celebrities are not, well, sparkly.Life has that kind of effect on...everyone.

I like to look at a pretty face.Who doesn't?
I don't care if that face needs make-up to look pretty.

But I do care about people like the OP.
People who wear tattoos on their faces are individualists, social anarchists.
What are the people who wear too much make-up? Except a topic to be laughed at of course.

I want a cow and NO,not for a hentai! Why...why would you think that? ⚢

I'm not a shallow person, but I'm also not that deep. If you're the kind of woman that needs make up to look pretty, then by all means put some on, but don't overdo it. I've seen women put on too much powder on their faces making their skin look blotchy. Like, last night at the bar, I saw a woman with too much powder, or foundation or whatever you ladies call it and it was all over her eyebrows. Poor woman, her friends didn't even tell her, so I had to tell her when she spoke to me. As for not looking youthful, it's called aging, it's also called either you're gorgeous or you're not. Some women just know how to take really good care of their skin, or maybe they just have really good plastic surgeons.

i use it when the situation calls for it. i don't need to wear makeup to go to class or the dining hall. for parties, however, it depends on what the party is.

Concur. I generally like the non-makeup look, but light makeup isn't bad for parties and whatnot.

Cakeface however is not something I feel is "normal" though.

Well, it's nice to have natural look makeup. It gives a nice clean feel. After all too much of it though will ruin the face. Unless you don't even need makeup. Those people are really amazing just the way they are.

(Oh... Quoted a Bruno Mars song... Unexpected of me...)

This whole make-up/no make-up thing pisses me off. Not because I hate make-up... I just wish I had a girlfriend that would ask me if she looks better with or without.... and no... NOT FUCKING ONIONS...

Oh wait.. that only a Philly thing?

.
I checked off the "isn't over-done" option.  I actually fall closer to "No make up," but I'm more pragmatic than that.  Minimal is always the best, none if it's an option.  Very few of my girlfriends wore much, if any.  I'm a very health-conscious type, so the sorts of women I'm attracted to are natural and focused more on the health care of what they have.  I am a huge fan of natural oils and essences.  Sage, cedar, patchouli, clove, rosemary, freesia, honeysuckle, cinnamon, lavender ... and many more along those lines so long as they are very natural essences, not artificial.

The ones focused on daily, heavy use aren't very attractive to me, so I've only dated about two of those type, and the relationships ended quickly.  Not because of the make-up (only) but because that mind-set is an extension of personality that I don't get along with.  A woman (or any person) who lives in harmony with the earth rather than as an artificial construction in conflict with it is always the more attractive.
I win, once again, in my never-ending struggle against victory.
