Am I seeding correctly?
Fool010:
Unless you have a lighting fast connection, like some fortunate ones do, seeding is a matter of patience.
Cap your download speed, don't download faster you could -potientally- seed. Keep seeding any torrent with a S/L ratio lower than 10 as long as you can. There's no need to be in a hurry, you won't be watching your downloads faster than you got them, will you ?

LOL, yeah, I've learned how to be patient.
I start downloading the [[big]] series at night (like right now, Shugo Chara with 52 episodes. I've been downloading since like, 5 PM and it's 10 now).
That way, it goes throughout the entire night and all during the school day, so when I get home it's finished :D
I'm glad that I get the oppturnity to watch anime like this! ;)
And, I learned the hard way that you have to keep the Torrent/whatever up, even after it's finished downloading, so it can seed >.<"
Hopefully after a few more times I'll get the hang of it.
Thanks for your help too!

Oh wow, 5 hours. That really puts me to shame. I've only had some of my torrents up and active for a year and a half. With a ratio on those of around 2-3.
By the way, I don't think there is much benefit to force seeding. I've never seen any changes in my torrent activity with force switched on or off. Perhaps it raises the torrent's priority, but there's no way for the torrent to seed more than it already is if there is no one to seed to.

xD Well, it's 3 AM and they're finished. I'm exaughsted, I've been studying for a Biology, French, and English test today :/
I have to get up in 2 1/2 hours >.<"
Anyway, the force start really didn't have any benefits, except that it made me download it twice (oops).
I wasn't really trying to make it seed faster, rather I was trying to actually make it seed (I had no idea it was seeding... lol, trust me, I'm starting to get the hang of this website!)
