torrent missing?

hey all,

i'm not sure where to be putting this so i figure i'll place it here to start with

i reloaded my utorrent earlier today and found out that one of the torrents i normally seed for BakaBT was gone, it was at this link here http://bakabt.me/129776-sailor-moon-ep-01-200-complete-arcs.html

i cant seem to find it anywhere and the tracker (of course) says it doesnt exist. i've tried looking for information on it but i've found nothing so far. if someone could point me in the right direction on the issue i'd greatly appreciate it

Might have just been replaced (swapped for a better quality torrent.) It happens from time to time. A little over a dozen of mine have been replaced since I joined.

Also happens when something becomes blacklisted

i looked in the blacklisted section on the wiki and diddnt find it, i also did a search for anything sailor moon but diddnt find anything close to the one i have, i did find the seasons broken up a bit... dunno if that's why it was pruned though.

Probably replaced by the several torrents. Strange though, because those torrents were around for a while. Did the torrent disappear recently?

Edit: Come to think of it, it's probably this torrent that resulted in the removal, considering it was added in December. Since you are talking about a giant all-in-one batch, it was only useful because the first season wasn't available. Once a separate batch was made for the first season, the all-in-one becomes obsolete, because torrents with smaller total sizes are more efficient. This is my theory, anyway.

Yes. With the approval of the SMC Season 1 we had better Group C encodes of all the seasons so we decided to remove the torrent as for one not many of us actually liked the idea of joining the 5 clearly different seasons as they are exactly that, different series, and two the torrent was a compliation of many different encoders and groups, many of which never labeled their episodes and as such there was never a consistant watch. There are many other minor reasons as well.

Its quality was almost always worse than other versions and was only being kept around till KAA finished Season 1. We gave up on waiting for them and took SMC resulting in its removal.

ahh ok, that's sorta the feeling i got when searching for posts on sailor moon originally. now that i know that i can begin redownloading the better encodes

Oh, interesting. I was tired that day and didn't remember that the torrent add date was listed in stats, and was just going to the first page of the comments and seeing when the first comment was posted. Probably one of my dumber ideas.
