Tracker misbehaving
« on: January 29, 2011, 07:32:02 PM »
EDIT: Problem solved, see below

:( Everything was working fine this morning but now after coming to my parents house the following message comes up for every BBT torrent: "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."
Screenshots: BBT torrent I downloaded ages ago
BBT torrent I downloaded just now
                   Non-BBT torrent working fine

The tracker still lists torrents I'm not currently seeding as active: screenshot

As you can see I'm using BitTorrent mainlline 7.2 and the only other info I can give you is I accidentally shutdown my PC(not a hard shutdown) without first manually closing my BBT session on Opera or my BitTorrent session.

That will be the problem. If you don't terminate properly from Bittorrent then sometimes it doesn't recognize that you have closed the connection and leaves it active. It will usually correct itself in a little while.

It's not the tracker that's misbehaving. It's you(r PC) ;)
