Monster (2004) - Haven't seen it, or want to watch it again!

Neco:
I would hardly classify Death Note as a series for kids.   Maybe you didn't like the writing,  and that's fine.  But it deals with mature subject matter in its own way.  I wasn't throwing them in the same camp because of the writing, or the plot, or w/e..    A horror movie is a horror movie is a horror movie,  because they are in the same genre / level of appeal.   You can debate any shows writing / characters / etc all day long.   That doesn't mean they aren't of the same vein.

Finally cracked the shell on this one. Fucking amazing series.

Only 18 eps, but already getting addicted to it. I think this is the show for me that replaces the void left by AnT.

The best compliment I can give this series is that it doesn't feel like an anime. In some ways it feels like a TV show produced by FX or HBO. I still have hopes that Guillermo Del Toro manages to convince HBO to take it on. It would be so fucking spectacular. I would wish I was in the indutry to help bring it to life because I have so many ideas for it.

Urrgh ... why ... please tell me why Takeshi you must bring this up. I keep telling myself to watch this. I dropped it at episode 33 or 34 because it was still airing at the time. I know I have this somewhere in my drivers. Hmm ... how should I plan to watch this.

megido-rev.M:
This sounds interesting.

zherok:
It's an excellent series. And one of the few I can say that really captures the source material. You don't really lose anything not reading the manga, the anime covers just about everything.
