Vidalia Problem

Hello there, i just changed my windows from 7 to vista, i downloaded Vidalia and when i start it i get this error




if you had the same error please tell me what to do.

task mangaer >> processes
find

tor.exe
and
vidalia.exe

end process those 2, then rerun vidalia

did that, and the same problem.

fire up commandline and type

taskkill /IM tor.exe /F (then press enter in your keyboard)
taskkill /IM polipo.exe /F (then press enter in your keyboard)
taskkill /IM vidalia.exe /F (then press enter in your keyboard)

then rerun vidalia

EDIT: I forgot, if all else fails reboot your computer.

i tried that and it's the same



also, i re-started and it's the same.

uncheck "show this window in startup"
settings>> uncheck "start vidalia when my system starts"

reboot
rerun vidalia

I would also retry this

It might be blocked by a firewall.

Also why would you change from 7 back to Vista oO?

well, i got some problems with my pc and i had to change.

anyway, how do i fix it ?

cuz i aleardy have it at exceptions

Well I'm only fishing in the dark because I've ditched Vista long ago...
If it's in the exception list and there's no other firewall installed it could be simply due to a busy network.

You could try another restart and see if that helps (end processes if it's necessary)

i re-started my pc, re-downloaded vadalia, install, pc restart, then i started vadalia.
