Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

Tatsujin:
Has anyone figured out a good way to make tons of currency? I need 360,000 to recruit Deneb and making currency in this game is a fucking miracle. Let me say it again. A MIRACLE! I have to stack on so much of those exorcism crap and I usually get the Mending herbs to get an early head start with haste on most of my characters. I just need this damn currency first. Also, the the Glass thing it's asking for so when she joins your party she's a Wicci. It says Palace of the Dead Lv. 1 just keep repeating that. Meh, I only have one so far. I need 29 more. LOL.

There's Lawful, Chaotic and Neutral arcs. There's different endings too and recruiting characters (at least half of them) is Crazy hard. Ravness <3!!! The story is very, very good and character build is pretty fucking excellent. It's much better than FFT: War of the Lions even thou both games were made by the same company (Square Enix) and similar people from both projects. FFT should have been like this ... For end game progressions, like Palace of the Dead (as an example) you want to go online and look for the drop rates:

Pirate's Graveyard loot table. That's one of the small dungeons which only spans around 12 floors. Palace of the Dead goes to 100, and anything beyond that is extremely hard (extending to 115 floors and they're called Ogre battles). There's another end game dungeon that's about 40-50 floors and that one is the hardest dungeon in the game according to people and the guide.

Anyways I'd like to have another person to discuss this game with so without getting off topic from here just post in this thread.

Posting here as you requested. =P

That sounds a lot more convoluted than the GBA version. AFAIK there are three possible endings with two slightly different routes, but the general story moves in a linear direction. But I'm not one to purchase guides... Everything I've ever needed I was able to find on GameFAQs.

And Squeenix? It was Atlus who translated the GBA one. I don't recall seeing the Squeenix name on it.

Man, the PSP version is, like, a beefed up version of the GBA version, plus a ton of other stuff. eBay, here I come...

Tatsujin:
Going to update first thread with online databases and information on the game. You'll want to review them. About half the characters in the game require "specific" events, routes or/and items in order to recruit them. Everything else is self explanatory. Let me know when you get the game!

ZuluEdison:
I forgot how fun this was, I got sidetracked with finals then coming back home, I'm going to have to pick this back up again for sure.

Freedom Kira:
... What first thread? There's another one?

Ordered the premium edition on eBay a couple days ago. Now the long wait... Hope Canada Post's backlog isn't so bad that it takes a lot longer than usual to deliver anything new.

Ever play the GBA TO?
