The only Norwegian movies that are worth watching are made by Tommy Wirkola

However even those movies are not recommended to non-scandinavians, as they wouldn't get the jokes based on cultural references. Besides there is no justice subbing actors like Stig Frode Henriksen, half of his humour is his funny northern dialect.
I guess my point is this recommendation thread is now aimed at scandinavians.
Here are Norwegian classics to recommend:
Død Snø (dead snow) - It's about Nazi Zombies, a splatter movie where people seem to lose their intestines easily, nuf said.
Kill Buljo - Parody on Kill Bill, very focused on cultural references and Lapps, I guess Swedes and Finns will get the jokes
If not loking for a comedy, then I can think of one decent war movie that they finally got more or less right:
Max Manus historians still disaproved some stuff, but close enough to a true story.
And then we have the Swedish movies which (not surprisingly) get higher budgets and many of them are really good:
Arn - Tempelriddaren Think of it as a swedish version of "Kingdom of heaven", this movie can be enjoyed fully by anyone I believe.
Flickan som lekte med elden Hmm.... Swedes make mainstream movies when I think about it...
Oh and Denmark has this dude called Lars von Trier that makes movies that.... well see this one:
Antichrist I think onion news made a video about him...
Beside that I remember an awesome Danish animation
Terkel i knibe. Pure win.
Oh, the list could go on, but I got bored so signing off.
