Well what can I say, I was pretty good as the demon the last round.
What makes this round any different?
Just look at my smile.

I am going to say yes asking questions about the certain game mechanics does sort of add suspicion to you, well at least when you do it out in the open. Sad as it may sound it is true, in a game of who is the murderer asking to many questions of a certain nature can get people thinking it may be you. Whether or not it is we still don't know and in all reality we won't unless your interrogated or boxed at this point. So as of the moment we just have to wait it out and hope we find all the other murders.

Also as of the moment I am going to drop my vote so as of the moment I am looking at my options on who to vote for.

could those be the "to many questions" you speak of? now that i think of it, they do make me look suspicious  ::)

Exactly. Those questions are as basic as basic goes, and were asked in previous rounds. (Well, the game rules related ones. I have no comment on the one about "sexy time with chiya".)

You're not suspicious for asking those questions. If anyone is suspicious, it's those who tried to argue that it was suspicious: they distorted the truth to get you voted out. It makes you think why they were willing to go to that extent to get you voted out.

Now that I went back and looked at the records I notice somthing I thought you asked was by teaparty. Very sorry about my mistake there.

It was a mix of the question on day and night and the one he asked, but yeah without the two together it sort of voids it out in a way.

When Cookies become alcoholics the world has issues, oh wait that has already happened!
When I was growing up I wanted to become a queen, now that I did, I have to avoid brats chasing me with bats.
When the charm wears off, what do you have then?

good point, but i'll keep my thoughts on the major characters to myself for now. i'm not the type who jumps to conclusions.

Well I can only assure you that I'm innocent, all 9 and a half toes of me. I don't remember, or can see, it in the rules about killers can skip turn so did the demon fail to possess someone, was it roven or ilkaid or did the demon try to possess the succubus...I'm gonna go back and read the last few pages. Been asleep most the time.

Yeah...the demon didn't strike.

Lets take a walk down possibility avenue.

The demon possessed Havok on Day 0, so it's not possible that the demon didn't act because the demon = Havok and Havok died.

The round that scotsman was detained, the demon did not act.   :-\

It still may not be scotsman.

(1. The demon chose not to strike to throw us off.
(2. The demon attacked the succubus and got feedback'd.  This would mean the demon and succubus know each other.  We should watch voting patterns to see if either...
        (I. A rivalry shows up out of nowhere or (II. Two people seem to be in cahoots.

Honestly, before the results of this night I was going to vote for Ilkaid.  In rounds 3 and 4 Ilkaid was very detailed with his logic and why we should vote for certain people and not for others.  This round I've seen none of that.

I'm witholding my vote for awhile until I see other people's opinions.

Oh, also,

"5) SeventyX7 to be questioned."
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Inquisitor.   :-*

Killers can skip a turn if they choose to do so, but that falls under the sequential targeting rule. I should add something about the Succubus not being immune to that particular one involving themselves, cause it'd be a real bother if they chose to just not play the whole game.

Anywho, to answer your question... These 4 things could have caused "There was no Demonic activity whatsoever:"

1. Demon was boxed and/or killed.
2. Demon tried to possess Succubus, got Feedback, lost a turn.
3. Demon chose to not do anything.
4. Demon was being questioned.

There was a clue however...

(click to show/hide)

I'll let you figure out what that means.

I suspect Seventyx7 of being the demon anyway. There are 2 reasons. First is that you made the suggestion of killers not doing anything when someone's detained to throw people off their sent. The second  is that you accused me that I could be one of the killers the day it was announced I would be detained if someone attacked when I was detained. Though since you are being detained I will not vote for you, yet.

My first thing about choosing not to do anything was really my only question, forgot the question mark. The last two were kinda a statement of what I'm thinking but thanks for answering that.

Wait would they know if they boxed a demon, serial killer or succubus now? If they didn't the resurrect-er better be careful now and would make the game more interesting.

If a player was boxed by the town's vote, it wouldn't be revealed if they actually were a killer unless they were the last one remaining and it was a Victory scenario. And yes, the Tertiary Adjunct should be careful in case this has occurred, or if it hasn't, then the increased chance of it happening between now and Day 6.

The choice of who to unbox is an extremely critical game influencing decision, likely the biggest power in the entire game.

With that said... if they were boxed because the Inquisitor/Grand Inquisitor discovered their identity, then it would be announced on the news.

I'm wrong anyways, because the hint Tiffany just dropped CLEARLY indicates that either the demon took feedback, the demon is Ilkaid and died to the killer, or that the demon is roven who just got boxed.

Well whatever the reason, I'm confident enough to say that we won't be dealing with demons for a while.
Now that that's taken care of.
We can now move on to the next vote.
My vote is still Arc. This has always been my default choice when I've got nothing better to say.

Mmm missed Moemix's comment on that and yes Tiffany's comments make it less likely that thee demon is still alive however we still can't deny the fact that the demon could still be around. If they can erase their evidence of being somewhere it's not impossible they could also completely hide their presence. We'll only really know the demon's dead if nothing happens in 1 or 2 days.

EDIT: Actually Vuzedome as far as I can see it can't possibly be arc since she was called in for "enhanced interrogation" in the first day, all killer rolls were then reported to have been active the next day. Though they won't always be found out a killer will lose a turn if called in for "enhanced interrogation".

i don't think such powers are available to the demon, since it's not stated in the rules. also, the demon could have been boxed so we might get a surprise in the third day. I just hope that i'm wrong though, one less threat on the list in that case.

I'm going to propose voting out an inactive player today. We don't have much to go by, so I suggest we vote someone who's not active until we have more info. As I explained in round 2, we have more to gain out of it than killers do - and even more so with the addition of the succubus.

With that in mind, I vote for pmDarkly. He has not logged on since December 15th 2010.
