Tiffany's Murdergame - Round Five: Vampires, Rapists, Revivals, oh my.
SeventyX7:
Ugh...why are you guys always voting for Teaparty?
I'm still gunning for Shabutie, because I believe he's the serial killer and he mistakenly said paladin (you wouldn't make that mistake if you were the actual tertiary). I am of the opinion he was trying to bait the tertiary into admitting who they were, to discredit him. Since there's no way to prove who's who, he could eliminate the other person and it would be plausible he's still not the killer.
That's what I think is occurring.
vuzedome:
Someone claiming to be adjunct is pretty much putting a bullseye on their backs. And I'm pretty sure any of the killers would do whatever it takes to bring them down.
But in this case..... calling yourself a paladin is really just pissing everybody off so Shabutie, hope the coin favors you again.
My vote, Shabutie.
By the way, scotsman, still too lazy?

But if this person is NOT the Adjunct, won't the real Adjunct take care of them anyway? What are we gaining through this lynch that is worth taking that risk? Even if the baddies wind up targeting him, that just means they might wind up dying themselves. I think everyone should pay really good attention to the people who are pushing this lynch, because if you think a bit, who would want to risk lynching the Adjunct? Well, of course it's the killers, so they don't have to risk dying themselves when they try to do it. There is simply no rational reason for an innocent person to push this, when the situation will (assuming the real Adjunct is at least mildly competent) absolutely, 100% take care of itself.

Out of all the protectors (with exception of the lieutenent which is a pretty useless role), the tertiary has the least likelihood to "beat" one of the killers should he be attacked. If any of the killers really thought he was the tertiary, they wouldn't mess with the vote, they'd just kill him.
Also, he's not the inquisitor or the grand inquisitor (because I've already deduced who these two are ;)) so no worries there.
TightMuffin:
It may be unlikely, but still better to kill him with no chance of failure than risk it. And the more important issue here is that the innocents gain nothing from this lynch, and if he WERE lying, it would be a suicidal lie to tell. All it takes is one night for the Adjunct to get the report to the Inquisitor, then another for the Inquisitor to do the boxing, unless he decides to just sit around not killing for a few days. Admittedly he was in a desperate situation, but still, you're advocating taking a huge risk (taking a very important protector role out of the game) for next to no benefit.
