Anyone else get the feeling Fansubs are an evil plan of hardrive manfactures?

Anyone else get the feeling Fansubs are an evil plan of hard drive manufactures lol? Was setting up a series to download and had a choice between 3 gbs, 10gbs, and 20gbs. I like quality as much as anyone but I seriously think groups putting out 20gbs encodes for 13 episode series are working for the dark side and the hard drive manufactures to make us buy more hard drives. They give us a choice, come to the dark side and buy another hard drive or sacrifice a innocent series to ether the trashbin demon or the plastics disks of the forgotten. Sadly like cookies, even I'm temped by the dark side. Lucky my wallet has made a valiant effort to keep me on the side of light with only 4 1 TB drives.

Anyway, 13 episode @ 20GB is quite small compared to a certain 26 episode release @ 66GB. But true though, recently Blu Ray groups bloat their releases more and more.

That's what you get for going for the 720p and 1080p versions of a show. I mean, I would definitely agree with you, but remember... if I'm ever bored... and I mean EVER.... I have over 500 GBs of unwatched animes... most of them under 10 GBs. I'm starting to finish off my first 1 TB harddrive (which is already full), and already starting to fill up the second one with about 300 GBs worth of shows.
Safe to say, both of them together only cost me $150 for 2.5 TBs total. That's better than paying... probably upwards of $10,000 worth of series... so I LIKE being on the Dark Side... pay less moola.

All of this is only 55GB, is the Blu Ray management smoking pot!?

As I need to find 100 (or 200) GB of watched anime, It is a bit easier to do so with the higher quality releases - earlier it would take me a long time to do so, meaning that the series would just sit in my hard drives.
