Comic Speeders?

(1/1)

lapa321:
Not exactly anime related but here goes.

I remember watching an anime where one of the villains in the first episode was a guy that was continiously eating hamburgers, and his power was speed. I can't remember the name of the anime.

At first he was untouchable until one of the rescuers sprayed water in his way, and he ended up swiss cheesed. I made perfect sense. If you're faster than a bullet, then everything else is a bullet.

It made me wonder why it doesn't happen to the other speed type characters (i.e. The Flash (DC) and QuickSilver (Marvel)), they've been shot so i know they aren't bulletproof (Tho they do heal very fast). So did their publishers ever come up with an explanation?

Don't bring science into a topic about a comic. Yes, bomb squads have robots that can shoot water at high speeds to kill a detonator switches, but Super Heroes are just that... Super.

Have you ever seen the diagrams of how an airplane flies via the wing? Same idea of science. ;)
