The thing about torrent pass...
(1/1)
intel:
Hi there.
I just noticed something, I closed Vuze completely, though in my active torrents at site, it was showing me D:5/U:3(That was about 20mns later). So that thing came to my mind, I wanted to check it.It says:
If you generate a new key you will have to redownload all your torrent files as the old key is no longer valid.
However, as far as I know, that identifier pass thing is used in tracker list.So I was wondering, if that's the only case, changing my tracker url to have my new pass in it, wouldn't that solve it, or I really have to download them all again?
Freedom Kira:
That's correct. You'll probably have to download at least one torrent file, though, so you actually know what your new passkey is.
Don't be so hasty, btw. It can take up to half an hour to an hour for your torrents to go from active to inactive. Check back later to see if they still appear to be running. Be sure to take a look at your detailed info on your tracker profile as well to see if some of the numbers are abnormally high (indicating a likely passkey leak).
I assume you know that you have to go File -> Close to close it completely. To double-check to make sure it's not running, check the Task Manager.

Don't worry too much about it, sometimes the tracker updates slowly. It happens to me before. Torrents showing upload for a few hours after I remove it.

Just checked again, it seems to be normal now.Thanks. :)
