I am kinda disappointed that this doesnt have a manga or novel so I can read a few chapters ahead in order to get a handle on where it is going. This is show that I will potentially want to watch but only if it follows a certain path (which I have noted in a previous post)
So now I am stuck having to watch this just hoping the story even goes in my direction, let alone goes well.
Its not too bad tho, cuz as I also said earlier, this is the first show this season that left me really wanting more. What I want is for the relationship with Ko (the guy who confessed right before she moved away) to become a large part of the plot. I am not interested in her dealings at the onsen or her ability to get long with everyone, I think we all have an idea how that will play out. (I would be happy to be wrong, it just seems obvious.) But even if it is predictable, its not something I am interested in, I would rather see a predictable romance.
That said, I have a feeling I will follow this, even if I do so bitterly.

Trope no. 2: 16-year-old girl longing for drama to escape from her boring life ... ooooo, how novel
Trope no. 3: best friend is in love with her but never says so ... no, really?
Trope no. 4: she has to make her own place in the world (probably by being nice to everyone) ... most original plot I've ever seen
Trope no. 5: she falls down and some guy (turns out her uncle) grabs her butt - should I be happy it wasn't the boobs this time?
Trope no. 6: there's an abrupt girl who hates her ........
COME ON!! I'm not giving up hope just yet, but I predict tropes tropes tropes and panty shots. Fuck that.
At least I have Gintoki to console me this season.

yeah, (click to show/hide)tropes are used up again, but other than that, the important thing is her fighting against all that which doesn't want her or like her, and her struggle, this is gonna be a nice watch, and there were no panty shots yet, a boob/ butt grab are a must as you noticed, but panty show, we have yet to see one.
