It's wrong precisely because this is a coming-of-age show (=character development) of a female lead.
Switch to a story with a male protagonist: Not Iroha, but Ahiro, for example. In a similar setup, I would expect the lead to learn that he was oblivious to everything, even to his long-time girlfriend being in love with him, as the starting point only. From there on, a lot of things could (and should) happen, including finding a true love somewhere along the road.
In this situation (you identify with the lead), you would be disappointed if the story development was restricted to the guy sticking to his kindergarten friend, despite him being in a completely new environment with lots of new encounters. It could happen, but then it would be a major part of the plot (less coming-of-age, more a story about long-time love prevailing).
Now back to Iroha. I think it's terribly wrong to identify with the first male guy just because she's so cute that we all want to have her. This is a story about Iroha, not about Ko.

its all good man, its just that suggesting someone to watch a generic harem comes off as saying they have bad taste. and it really put into perspective for me when you switch the roles and make it a male lead. i guess it is being a little selfish when you dont put yourself in the character's shoes. good point.

yea i lol'd at that (click to show/hide) she got crazy eyes, man.
(click to show/hide)still though, 200 bucks a month for basically full time is a little cheap. and she's gotta be there early as hell in the morning. its all good though, shes happy.
cute as hell man. (click to show/hide)and i think kimono are more mature than chinese dresses and whatnot. besides, whats the deal with anime's obsession with their women in chinese dresses? lol they arent that sexy i dont think.

Wait PA Works is doing something this season? Man I'm out of touch with stuff... After seeing how well they did AB! I gotta pick this up.
TMRNetShark:
Isn't Minko voiced by the same girl who is Maka Albarn from Soul Eater and and P-ko from Arakawa Under the Bridge?

Chiaki Omigawa. Her best role is Hotori from Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru btw.
Such a sexy voice. I would pay her to read to me.

great ep as usual. the chinese dresses actually turned me off here, despite me liking it generally.
oh what lulz could it have been if there was an omake episode where they chose that BDSM-esque/backless dress instead...
still though, the lack of shameless fanservice(pantsu, boing, etc) here is really refreshing.
i gotta say i changed my opinion on granny now, she's not as bad as ohana's mom.
