Didnt expect the ending but I liked the show alot

as much as i complained about it throughout, the pace of the story and the timing of the completion of each subplot worked out pretty well. enough but not too much resolution. the story even ended up fitting well with the idea of blooming or budding. you end up with budding relationships and futures in the end. mmm, warm fuzzies...

I'm not sure how to characterize how I feel about this show. I was never really excited to sit down and watch it, and yet when I did watch it I enjoyed it well enough.

I guess I felt that it was executed extremely well, but the plot/premise of the show just didn't intrigue me much at all.

I went with HS, CR did a good job, but there were a few quirks in the process.

I don't remember this getting a licence. Could be me not knowing though.

Underwater-Commie or Hatsuyuki-Tsuki. Both use CR subs, both are equally flawed (U-C is more localized, so no honorifics and stuff like that; H-T has an editing style you need to get used to and they lack a bit in the TS department).

At first I thought that was a good idea... best to just end this show... it was good enough as is.

Id go along the lines of Ko cheating on Ohana with all the girls, including her mom. . .and then we get some heads rolling

Ah, make it kinda like Yosuga no Sora? Except Ko is now a pimp and bangs each girl in an ark while Ohana is at home cooking him a meal for him? That's not tragedy... that would just break my heart for Ohana more than anything.

Neither of those posts would ruin the show for you. What we are saying is completely unrelated to what actually happens in the show. So no worries.

I loved the ending, it wasn't what I expected and I felt it ended the series well.

Production for a new project is in works, rumor it's second season. Release date is confirmed for 2012 (spring or summer probably).

Link ? or something, but I really have no idea how they can do a second season with this ending, unless they start the Inn again in a few years and everything starts over with new staff to cause trouble lol

I'm thinking it's either a Movie or an OVA.

Gotta give credit to the festival alone, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole story was actually based on a diary of some person from the city and was done a bit more modern to address more modern society. Might be just me thinking too much but that wold explain some more work in progress for next year.

Movie would be what I would bet on though.
