Maybe it's too "real" of an anime... which is why us fanboys like it soo much.
Wait... what? There is no fan service in this anime? So why am I being called a fanboy?!
Just because a bunch of people like this anime doesn't make us all fanboys... just fans of the show. :)

sorry to interrupt, but anyone into anime is either a fanboy or a fangirl, you're not into girls in anime, there is a perfect show going atm, BL and it's disgusting to me (i'm a guy) so if you really want some boys, go there.

And when it comes to fanservice (ecchi, nudity, boarder line hentai) people start to make a big deal about it and give us names. Angel Beats and Toradora! barely had any fanservice (well, Toradora! did but wasn't so exaggerating) yet they're among the best. P.A.Works isn't going to fuck this one up and give some mild or heavy fanservice for the sake of "well if it's fanservice it should sell!". They're trying to tell a story and I LOVE when they get serious about their work. It's how Anime should be presented.
