Havoc10K:
I think I just found a very fatal flaw.
Their device seems to have unlimited range, or at least a very wide range.
From her home to their lab is quite a ways, so does activating the device sends a D-Mail automatically ? if so then there must have been hundreds of mails and finding one that changed the history is impossible :D

Major flaw in the story XD

kitamesume:
no i think their machine is the actual transmitter.

anyway, boooo the manga is stuck at ch.06 while you guys are enjoying the anime... pft.

Havoc10K:
wait, so the manga is stuck and the anime is ahead ?
original material smells bad in this one.

Blitzz:
isnt this based one the visual novel?  ???

Natheria:
So far i've been fine with Okarin's eccentricities. I've only enjoyed it until now...

The fact that he made such a fatal logic flaw is beyond my comprehension... Everyone's already mentioned that he never considered the facts that the message was being sent 10 years into the past, that she and her father are influential, and he never bothered to even TRY to pry the messege out of her but i still feel the need to rage at such stupidity. He spends all his time thinking in his head he's some mad scientist  and just herp derps around not even considering the fact that even without considering before mentioned important reason to say 'maybe we shoulden't do this' but he also fails to put together that if he allows her to change time their agreement that she gives him the IBN 5100 is null and void the minute they change time because he's the only one who remembers it!!!!! ARRRRRRRGH!!!!!!

Ok, i'm done now...

I believe the original text messages are being sent to the cell phone attached to the Timecrowave (yes, that is what i am calling it!) and then sending the data to the Timecrowave where it is then sent out in time/space/wibbly wobbly stuff by way of sketchy black hole. In essence the setup is two devices (possibly three since I'm not sure what is actually on top of the microwave... maybe i missed something). Sender's cell phone>cell towers>cell phone attached to timecrowave>black hole>receiving cell phone. What bothers me however is that if i recall they needed the IBN 5100 to translate SERN's messages. Wouldn't the fact that they no longer have this crucail part of the plot that we've been jerked around with mess up the time lines where they discover the D-mail technology? I can't really remember very well now so I'm going to have to go re watch some crucial episodes and look this over. It still strikes me as odd that all these things are changing around them due to the butterfly effect but they still have the actual time machine... PLOT ARMOR BE DAMNED!!! I call bullshit!!
