The fact that he made such a fatal logic flaw is beyond my comprehension... I believe the original text messages are being sent to the cell phone attached to the Timecrowave (yes, that is what i am calling it!) and then sending the data to the Timecrowave where it is then sent out in time/space/wibbly wobbly stuff by way of sketchy black hole. In essence the setup is two devices (possibly three since I'm not sure what is actually on top of the microwave... maybe i missed something). Sender's cell phone>cell towers>cell phone attached to timecrowave>black hole>receiving cell phone. What bothers me however is that if i recall they needed the IBN 5100 to translate SERN's messages. Wouldn't the fact that they no longer have this crucail part of the plot that we've been jerked around with mess up the time lines where they discover the D-mail technology? I can't really remember very well now so I'm going to have to go re watch some crucial episodes and look this over. It still strikes me as odd that all these things are changing around them due to the butterfly effect but they still have the actual time machine... PLOT ARMOR BE DAMNED!!! I call bullshit!!

The day the microwave magically disappears infront of him is the day i start betting on which episode he dies. Last episode being an obvious cop out.

On the story note, I wonder if that cat girl (whatchamacallit) did actually hate the moe~ to want to change it like that, she seemed very into it. Or maybe she just missed her daddy?

It's pretty obvious she sent that messege to her father and instead of spending time working or whatever he now spent more of his time in this new time line taking care of her or something similar to that.
