i have one fun pattern that okabe should've tested:

1 okabe would declare that he'll send instructions into the past to himself after two weeks. this declaration should make him not act stupid enough just like the time with the lottery ticket.
1.1 okabe will receive a message of information two weeks into the future from himself, instructions on what to do.
1.2 executing that instruction would lead into a time-loop which knowledge from the future will be drawn into the past.
2 two weeks after the declaration he'll send the message to himself two weeks before.
3 time-leap will happen and his knowledge would be sent back in time.
4 okabe of two weeks before should now know what okabe of two weeks after. or more like the future okabe would feel like he traveled back in time.

its where "a" is the point where okabe declares "b" and the new outcome becomes "c" where he knows both knowledge of "a" and "b".
                        ____
past________a/____\b
\______c      just like how you write the small letter e

1. We've never seen that a leap into the future is possible. Given the nature of the world lines it could be a bit troublesome.
2. You don't want to be stuck inside an eternal loop, trust me.

its not an eternal loop, its a one time loop. just that time you sent the message, plus you could end it via not sending the message.

I know it's a little early, but I wonder if they'll do a second season? Seeing how it's going now, they'll either wrap it up on the last episodes, or they will leave a semi cliff-hanger and do a new season.

So far, it doesn't look like it's going to need another season.

I would still like OVAs though... I'm going to miss kirisutina...

That sounds like you forgot that this show has 24 episodes. We haven't even finished the first half, lol.
And there won't be a second season, I'm pretty pretty sure about that. However, there will be a bonus (episode? I forgot ...) bundled with the last BD, maybe an epilogue. Don't know about OVAs, at the end of the anime everything should be said and done. Unless they will make an animation of Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling but if that'd be worth watching it ... like the School Days OVAs ...

its not an eternal loop, its a one time loop. just that time you sent the message, plus you could end it via not sending the message.

Like Okabe from the 15th declares that on this day he will send 5 D Mails back to himself on the 20th.

On the 20th he sends D Mails to the 15th telling the past that he must repeat this process on the 20th.

I fail to see how this would not end in a tragic loop. O_o ... Oh wait i forgot he remembers everything and is the operator.

one was worth the watch, Kotonoha and Sekai at their throats and the gay boy XD

Ahh Cross Days, major WTFs were had around the board.

It seems like time loops are impossible, as he cannot move times himself, only world lines.

Man, this was one awesome episode! I love that he actually invented stuff! lmao

I didn't realilze Hououin was only 20. Srsly? huh.

How the hell did
(click to show/hide)
Was Hououin always wrong? Or did something happen?

I need to see this ep. again to see if the scene in the dark works better. It made my new TV look funny.

So, will we see Feyris-tan next ep. and see what happened to her, with this latest time shift?

Well, he was born on Dec 14 1991, making him only 18 in the VN ...

"Not. Enough. Vegetables." she mumbled even though she already turned green. Desperately she was trying to reach out for a cucumber on the dining table but it was all in vain. She'd always regret that very moment, when a cucumber could've changed everything.

Poor little Luka-chan. Wonder how her mother's eating habits have changed due to the D-mail.

@tomoya-kun
I wouldn't be so sure about it being impossible. :3

well it was either that, or tell dad to eat more oysters for girls

Ah! Maybe Hououin just had a brain fart like me. lol Yeah, I remember that D-mail now. But I didn't think, wait, wasn't Feyris-tan's D-mail for 10 years the max time back they have done?

Well, I guess I've proven a good reason to go re-watch it all again. BUt maybe wait until it is all over, then go re-watch.

What I find amusing is the mere thought of adjusting the microwave for 87,600 seconds runtime (approx. 10 years time in hours), a tad bit longer than a whole day. IIRC you see the microwave timer in seconds (e.g. 120) so it would look hilarious to see the counter going down from 87,600, lol.

I forgot about the max time, tbh. I have a reason for forgetting it though -> spoiler. But Luka is seventeen years old, so a message before his/her birth would obviously beat Feiris'/Feyris'/Faris' (lol) D-mail.

Jeez, so why did I have it in my head Luka was only 15? And still, why the big deal over, oh wait, no one remembered Luka's D-mail. nevermind. Hououin just wanted to not let Feyris-tan send a D-mail, not that it would exceed any time limit. Right?

Would I have this level of problem if I was hearing this show, and not just reading it, while my eyes are trying to concentrate on the visuals.

I still love those mad scientist inventions.

No idea. Mayuri should be the youngest of the lab members, born on Febrauary 1, 1994. But it seems to me they do not quite follow the VN there, as Moeka was the only one at age 20.
There is a time limit on the D-mail. As it has been stated when trying to mail Luka's mom, you need a device to receive the mail, so no changing the Victorian Age, lol. Also it is a matter of the object's size, if they were to send something bigger than those text messages, the phone microwave's range of time leaping would decrease of course.

Jelly men :D
I just want to know why Moeka is so zombie-zoned most of the time, like, she was gang-banged for a few hours and left to do some research, then again, everyone there has those blank eyes so maybe they all were like that, I mean all girls there cuz guys seem to have normal eyes, most of the time at least.

Well, now you know why she is called "Shining Finger."

Completely aside and totally meaningless. Last time I bought curry, it was the same kind as Mayuri bought in this last ep. And she said it was spicy. HA! Ain't no habaneros in curry!
