(click to show/hide)You are correct.  HE IS the change that results in a change in the world line, and by going back himself he can influence the world line in the way that he wants.

Havok is correct; SERN is mostly after him, as Makise and Daru stay safe when not with him.  Therefore, the best course of action would be to have Mayuri stay somewhere else as Havok said.
