He stays close to Mayuri, he should tell her to stay at the shrine for a while and not to show up until he calls her. As long as he stays close to her she will keep dying

The time Leaps have nothing to do with this as he is directly interacting with the change, the D-Mail is being sent and the history is re-written, that is how he notices a change in the timeline, however by directly BEING the D-Mail he doesn't notice any changes, because he is the message.

The fact SERN had basically nothing to do with the last time Mayuri died made me believe that it's just 'fate' for her to die in this timeline. Though what you said makes a lot of sense (About Okabe not noticing the changes since he is the message.), It also creates some new questions, aka. Even if Okabe stayed away from Mayuri, Would SERN just let her be after capturing Okabe? I mean, she knows about the time machine and it'd be kinda tricky for them to leave any people walking out and about knowing about it. I'm pretty sure they'd go after the others after capturing Okabe as well.

 Perhaps an D-Mail needs to be send back way further into time after Okabe time-leaps. Something like 'SERN is onto you, stop now or people will die.' , to completely avoid the current events. In the end, time leaping can't be done that far back into time.

But one thing is for sure, It'll be very interesting to see how the story will further fold out now. I'm all excited for the rest of the episodes now.

Mayuri is of no use to Sern, so while Mayuri is away from main events, SERN has no reason to kill her, but Okabe wants to protect her because he fears she would commit suicide, don't know if you noticed but Mayuri hates being alone. Mayuri died the first time because she was there, if she wasn't there SERN wouldn't even bother.

Why he didn't hug her tightly is beyond me, I COULD SEE THAT COMING FROM A MILE AWAY! WHAT THE FUCK IS HE THINKING!

If he uses the D Mail now there is a high chance he will lose the time leap machine and if they still come after him after that then he's mightyfuckingly screwed.

I hope his incredibly damp sense of danger is not an omen.

This could be the game breaker right here but since Okabe cannot achieve this with a 24 hour time frame he's screwed.

If he eventually teams up with Suzuna they may be able to secure a fort.

I used [report to moderator] for that to happen cuz after I posted tomoya wasn't reacting for a few minutes (I waited 5 mins) and I'm grateful to Jecht for quick reaction, although someone else might have reported that as well.

As for Chaos;Head, it's done by the same company from what I remember and that is pretty much the only real connection, the game is crap anyways, from what I heard. Has cute girls though.
