I am confused about a few things. I usually avoid time travel anime because it is way too confusing for me, but Steins;Gate looked too good to miss. Anyway, here are my confusions, if anyone wants to clarify for me...
(click to show/hide)In the latest ep Kurisu talks about how she will still exist in the second world line even though she will be dead in the original world line. So, basically, the conciousness of the particular version of Okarin we have been watching will transfer back to the original world line. However, from my understanding, the Mayushi of the second world line who he's been trying to save will still die in that world line. From Okarin moving back to the first world line, he won't be saving anyone, because the Mayushi in the original world line doesn't die anyway. Also, there will still be an Okarin in the second world line that he swapped with. Will he too use the phone microwave to change world lines to try to 'save' Mayuri? Will there be an endless cycle of Okarin's swapping realities with other Okarin's?
Sorry if that sounded really confusing, but I can't explain my thoughts any better. If someone knows whats going on, please explain it to me. This is why I avoid time travel anime >_>

When you use the time jump machine your consciousness travels and I assume the original body has no mind and dies.
Havoc10K:
What Kurisu meant (click to show/hide) is that even though she will be dead in the original timeline and the Beta one, in all others she will live, and in his memory.
