Would you be interested in a Play-By-Post RP?

I was wondering if people on the forums had interest in a forum RP and if so, what kind.

Heavy game mechanics means strict rules and the GM will be throwing dices and doing a lot of number crunching and you will have lots of stats skills and abilities ala DnD or Pokemon or such.

Slight mechanics but strong GM means there will be only a little numbers and limited skills and abilities(you won't need skill checks for cutting wood, no critical hits, etc) but GM will be ruling out or in most of the builds, options and such.

Slight mechanics, weak GM is practically giving you a set of rules, throwing in the middle of something and saying succeed. You can and probably will have over the top options, ideas and builds. GM is mostly there to do the rough boring stuff no one wants to do.

Freeform with strong GM means no game mechanics at all, just RP with GM deciding if you fail or succeed based on his own ideas, humour or logic and advances the critical points in the story, outside of that you're free to build the story on your own.

True freeform is more RP with very weak GM control or no GM control at all. You're given a setting and you make yourself a character(s) embark on an epic journey of writing page long posts with other players and GM just watches by or is just another player among the rest, maybe doing the calls if someone is trying to go overboard or the story gets stuck somewhere.

Freeform/Strong GM could be fun simply because we could end up with ridiculous situations solved MacGyver style.

Freeform/Strong GM for the sake of not waking up one night to find that your house has been pwned by a drunk passerby.

If you are making a Gundam RPG like Gundam Gates back in the day (one of my favorite RP forums)... I will join... become a mod... and dedicate my life to that RPG forums. I was in love with a Gundam RP forums and sadly, have not been able to find one that is good enough.
