And I bet it would make a most hilarious and epic RPG.

But if majority of the players want something more serious it would be wrong against them to pull something like that.

I wouldn't mind saving the world from gay rabbits that shoot rainbows when they masturbate either...

But a crazy sorcerer or a demon king is fine, too.

Seriously, though, I'd be interested in an pbpRP as long as there was a fairly strong DM. Lots of rules, or totally freeform, I don't really care.

Just... no forcing the wizard to use a crossbow because he's out of spells, that's just lame.

Tvtropes has quite a few RP templates to choose from, i'd prefer the paranoia castle type.

Why don't we tell the mods to help out too, suggest here.
