Rift!
Havoc10K:
I have a lot of supportive and entertaining addons in WoW
i have the mostly needed,
threat meter, recount to bitch around :)
few action bars addon setups that make it a lot easier to use the actionbars actually
Carbonite (a set of quest follower, with better maps and PVP punk tracker)
Enchantrix (anyone who plays in Auction House should have something like this)
Final Fantasy 7 Music Addon, for the times whe nI am on ground mount and it happens to be a Swift White Hawkstrider, the Chocobo soundtracks fit it so perfectly :D
some of other addons that are fairly entertaining, like announcer when I hit 5 times with chain Lightning in a row without casting it (Mastery) seriously, you want to make people envy your feat :) having chain bolt unleash 5 times in a row with Mastery is like, fuck !
Death Combo counter :) fun in PVP, counts how many dudes I sent to the grave, visually it looks like almost like the counter in Musou Orochi 2, pretty fun little addon,
i also have several data collecting addons, and one super blocker for spammers, and one enhancer for ignoring idiotic people, when I pug in raids, it announces it too, making me the bad guy, but I am quickly asked why and before they know it the addon posts also a nice reason for ignoring :) i'm being an ass, but considering how many people are simply ignorant and can't even be nice to others or are ninja pulling and wipe, you don't want to pug with them :P
all that is less than 42 mb.
that is really low, seriously :)

Been playing since last night. Pretty good so far. Lot's to do, very little grind. Chasing rifts across the map is strangely addictive. Yet to encounter a single bug. I think this is gonna keep me entertained for a solid 3 months at least. ;D

Having a blast with Rift. I pre-ordered after trying out the beta. And also unsubscribed my WoW account.
Only level 43 right now, but taking my sweet time. Also keeping my crafting up (armorer and weaponsmith) which slows me down. But there's many ways to level. Won't miss out if ignore the quests. Can farm instances, or just do rifts, and some people level purely on warfronts (battlegrounds).
I really like the public grouping (you can turn it to private if don't want others to join...or to keep the group as it is). And love the dynamic rift invasions. There is some strategy involved with the invasions. People are learning that everyone can't just zerg the boss or rifts, leaving the ward stones unprotected. Sometimes I just act as defender if no one else does. Buffing the stone with my planar energy, then grabbing all the adds and tanking the incoming invasion, so the NPCs stay alive and help on DPS. My main spec is Justicar.
WoW can make a more dynamic world, so that we just don't sit in town waiting queues. But without public grouping, it would automatically fail.
But what sold me on Rift is how polished the game is on release. The devs actually respond to concerns in the forums, and changes are made quickly. And they seem to be quite good at it. It's as if the old Blizzard Devs are now doing Rift (what happened to them anyways?). End game is ready. And I expect more good things to come. Unlike that other MMO.
I also love being able to quickly change souls (don't need different sets of gear either). Started as DPS, then tried tanking with Justicar when it was needed with a group... and now I stay as Justicar, because I love it. Never tanked in wow and still don't want to.
I play on Sunrest PvP-RP server. PvE alone can be boring. And RP server for the more mature crowd (hardly anyone actually roleplays anymore).
edit: Yea, you'll need more graphics muscle for this game. But can lower the settings otherwise, and still looks much better than certain other MMOs. I'm actually contemplating on upgrading so I can have a better framerate on ultra settings. Which is an option I'll gladly take than not having it.

I have 47 addons in my WoW account, only necessities Blizzard did not think of :F

:o If you need 47 addons to play a game, you might be playing the wrong game for you. Just sayin'.

Third party addons for WoW are amazing. A lot of them are. They support and enhance your gameplay style and are heavily heavily customizable. This is one of the reasons why I like WoW. I want more options and more customizations and Blizz supports 3rd parties.
Edit -- To those whom are still playing RIFT. Is the world an Open World? I mean can you LITERALLY go anywhere you want (like WoW)? Or is it a closed world? Do you have to "instance" to other open world areas (Not related to Dungeons or Raid Instances)?
Havoc10K:
a good question, I played the closed worlds in other MMOs and it was sux my balls, sometimes the transition between zones would crash you :P
as for the old WoW Dev teams that seem missing, they are now stationed in US branch working on a "secret project" that blizzard is guarding with the heaviest importance.
