Build Me a Computer!

BrownMasterV:
Okay, I want to build a new computer.
I know there are zillions of computer geniuses here, and I thought I would get some help because compared to a lot of people, I'm tech-retarded.
Custom built computers have spoiled me, so this is the only way to go.

I want something equal or better than this (THIS CURRENT COMPUTER'S SPECS)

CPU -            Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 @ 2.66GHz  8MB Cache 1066MHz FSB
Graphics -      NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI FTW
Power Supply- ULTRA 750 WATT ATX POWER SUPPLY
DVD/CD Drive- Sony DRU-V200S DVD/CD-RW Drive (SATA)
Tower         -  ULTRA GLADIATOR ATX Mid-Tower PC Case

What I need:
HDMI output on the GFX card
To be able to play...sayy...games like Crysis 2 on high specs
To be able to laglessly play 1080p blu-ray .mkv's
Motherboard that will take DDR3 RAM

Don't need to worry about hard drive or memory, because I'm just pulling those out of my current computer.

I'm not worrying about price just yet, so post what you think would be good along with an estimated price ;)

I'm not sure how much info I gave/needed to give, so tell me what more I need to mention.

EDIT: Oh and the HDD is SATA, if that helps at all

EDIT: PRICE RANGE: $1000 AND UNDER, the cheaper the better.

Wait for the AMD Bulldozer to come out. I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, but I want to see how the Bulldozer stands up to the new i7.

HiddenJumper:
Whats the mhz of your ram? 1066? 1333? 1600? Vital piece when choosing a motherboard.

Freedom Kira:
I'm curious as to why you intend to use Core 2 Quad. Especially since most Core 2 processors use DDR2 RAM (too lazy to look up if the one you selected does).

But yeah, wait a couple months - Bulldozer should be out in a little while, IIRC (I don't follow AMD stuff). If you really can't wait, go for the i5 or i7 models that are available now. The i7 960 and 970 recently dropped in price. The 960 is basically the most powerful Bloomfield and is down to $300-ish, but is no longer top-notch. The 970 is the weakest 6-core Gulftown and is down to $600-ish. Look for Sandy Bridge LGA1155 stuff now that they're available again - they should have some pretty decent prices.

I don't intend to get another Core 2 Quad. That's just what I have right now.
