Need a good DnD-esque CRPG
nstgc:
With all this talk about Dragonage II, I want a new RPG. Not some run around and hack shit up (like in the Witcher), but something like Neverwinter Nights. I know I can't get the RP found in DnD from any other source, but surely I can get the rest.
[edit] Please note that I am not looking for a PnP RPG.

Step 1. Open Wordpad.
Step 2. The only limit is your imagination!

I want a game. I don't want to write a novel (well, actually I do, but that's different). Anyway, I want a game.

Step 3. Find a game master / find players because you are a GM yourself.
Step 4. Find dice.
I believe everything else can be improvised, but you need more than one player in pen and paper in a role play.
nstgc: most good RPG are old games. If you don't mind the graphics, try Arcanum or Baldurs Gate.
nstgc:
I have Baldur's Gate II installed, but it doesn't run properly and the interface pisses me off (accessing spells is annoying). I bought SpellForce back in December, but it turned out to be a weak fusion of RTS and RPG (as opposed to strong).
My problem with PnP is that people are unreliable. Last time I played an PnP RPG One guy came and went and it was a real mess. The next time everyone was smoking in a place with no breeze. I'm quite asthmatic and so being in a cloud of smoke is a real problem.
I may try Arcanum. I'd prefer new graphics, but a good game is better.
