We all know the zombies are coming, so it's time to pick your zombie apocalypse team! It can be anyone, anime or not, living or not, or anything else that can be funny... Here is the template:

As for my team, well, I think we would either last until every single zombie is dead on earth, and maybe even kill a few alien zombie combos... or we would die the second we spawn (cause the tank spawned right above us).

Team Lead: Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington) from Training Day

Brawler: BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! (Khorne Berserker) from Warhammer 40K

Weapons Expert: Zombified Punisher? Sure... or normal Punisher. from Marvel Comics

Brains: Albert Wesker. He'd know whats going on and have a plan for everything Resident Evil

Medic: Dr. Jonathan Crane, AKA Scarecrow. Afraid? You will be. from Batman

Speed Fighter: Danny the Dog (Jet Li) from Unleashed

Mascot: The Koala bear

Guy Who Dies First: Yagami Light. Because he's a pansy. from Death Note

We're kinda evil... but show no mercy towards the undead.

Team Lead: Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7, ect) He'd supply us, me especially, with no end of confidence, and really, how could he make the situation worse? Meteor? Who'd the hell care at that point. He also comes with his own theme music.

Brawler: Mas Oyama (Martial Artist) - Though I suppose he'd be a zombie then, wouldn't he.

Weapons Expert: Sarah Palin (Frm. Gov. Alaska) - Momma Grizzlies, ect.

Brains: Gendo Ikari (Neon Genesis Evangelion) - effective and yet kind of douche, you wouldn't feel so bad if he were torn apart.

Medic: Techs Farzenbarg (After War: Gundam X) - Medics are generally useless in these instances anyways, I'd like someone decent to talk to, and kill me if the situation turns to that.

Speed Fighter: Xia Yu Lan (Full Metal Panic: TSR) - The cuter of the sisters.

Mascot: Glenn Beck (Fox News) - It seems he's constantly predicting the apocalypse, it wouldn't seem right for him not to be there to enjoy it.

Guy Who Dies First: Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy 7), Sad... but unavoidable apparently - no matter how much you've raised her stats.

Hmm, I actually considered Erwin Rommel for Brains or even better: team leader. However why Adolf? he wasn't exactly brilliant (although if there would be someone to figure out a final solution for the zombies, it would be him

Actually if you look into the actual historical record Rommel WAS a tactical genius, and Hitler really wasn't all that bright at broad tactics at all. One could make a great case for Hitler destroying his chances of winning WWII precisely because he made tactical decisions based on emotional drives rather than a rational tactical approach. Such as opening the Eastern front whilst fighting in Western Europe and North Africa, when he had a stable no aggression pact with Russia, because he despised Russians and communists.

You actually don't even need the team. Cthulhu just has to dream zombies don't exist, and problem solved. If he takes requests, then he should dream away some other cultural aberrations ... one of his 'teammates' being a prime example.

Concerning the 'should Rommel or Hitler be the brains' question, the answer is easy ... Sun Tzu takes the spot.

I started making one, but I realized there are too many options and variables to consider, even when limiting myself strictly to anime. If I put in someone like Lina Inverse it'd be "Fireball!" and no more zombies, or someone from Bleach with an AoE-attack. That wouldn't be a zombie apocalypse, it'd be a completely overpowered group destroying zombies that can't defend themselves at all. Going beyond anime I could put in Doctor Manhattan and he could turn the zombies back into normal people, same thing with Jesus actually, I mean, the guy is god according to most interpretations and the last 2000 years of fan-fiction.

Some serious limits are needed...

I admit I overdid it with Cthulhu. I actually concidered Hannibal Lecter as a team leader first. That way zombies would run away from him because he would attempt to bite them.

Also for the reference the weapon specialist is Mikhail Kalashnikov. Should have put the name under the pics I guess.

Team Leader: She's God! Do you really think she'd have it any other way?
Brawler: A natural zombie killing machine.
Weapons Expert: No explanation necessary. Gordon Freeman would be another excellent option, but I figured I'd rather not tempt disaster.
Brains: Because all his plans always work, no matter how crazy.
Medic: Impervious to zombie attack, and he has knowledge of future medicine.
Speed Fighter: Because he has the "No Shadow Kick". It's so fast, you don't see a shadow.
Mascot: Has to be someone that strikes fear in the hearts of zombies.
First Person To Die: He can't be killed.

Now that I think about it, Jesus could singlehandedly end the zombie invasion .... by reviving them. But this would lead to serious overpopulation.
