More than 12 minutes of gameplay: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/massive-gameplay-batman-arkham/717026

Seeing this, it's amazing just how much they've improved from the first game, takedowns aren't loud anymore which makes it much more believable that the guy 2-3 metres in front doesn't hear it. Combat looks so fun, all these nice tricks, especially the "shoot line at guy, pull it back, land your goddamn elbow on his back" trick.

The only thing that could get in the way of my enjoyment is if they decided to up the graphics so much that it's going to be unplayable for me. Especially these open areas makes me concerned. That and a bad console port though it shouldn't happen since AA was great.

EDIT: Oh come on, guys, please don't force me to quadruple post next time!

You've triple posted already... double posting is against the rules. If you have something to add, do an edit. Try not to bump a thread.

I will say, I picked up Arkham Asylum yesterday and I have yet to play it. Apparently it's a really fun game, but I will be the judge of that (and hopefully it's good enough for me to warrant a reserve for Arkham City).

Apparently, I've never got warned for it. Bumping when the last reply is more than one month away seems to be all right. If not then I'd appreciate them telling me.

Cause mods have better things to do then comb through every thread looking for double posters. Just don't make a habit of it.

I started playing Arkham Asylum... it's actually a pretty fun game. If Arkham City is just like this but a huge city, I just might get it.

Tegh:
Loved Asylum, and City looks even better.  Downside to Asylum was the linear aspect, but with the larger world, and more "side missions" it would spruce up what was already an incredible game.  I wanted more after beating it on hard mode at 100% and getting every achieve...just seemed too fun to be that short.  Looks like they got the memo ;)
